Blind Items Revealed #1

November 1, 2016

This foreign born actress used to be A list. She is an Academy Award winner/nominee. Everyone always sees her in the same type role no matter how many other types of movies she does. She wants to work more but she doesn’t want to hire a nanny and her husband doesn’t want to have to adult all the time while she is gone. Problems at home.

Keira Knightley

There are other reasons not to hire a nanny.

Smelly.. u need a nanny if you going to book some movies. Impossible

Life choices are a bitch. And yes, this applies to both of them.

You only *need* a nanny if the other parent isn't willing to step up while you're filming. If she doesn't want to hire a nanny then she and husband need to figure out how to make that work. Wanting to raise your kids yourselves is a valid life choice. Why shouldn't he take on the lions share while she's working and vice versa?

So glad I'm poor and not famous. These people are crazy.

I guess taking them with her is out of the question? Location filming and subletting a place to live?

If you are rich enough to afford a nanny, you are rich enough to take care of your kids, you just don't want to.

Not to mention hollywood cloned her with Daisy Ridley so they don't need her now.

@texas rose, they always have someone who is younger and works for less money.

No, not impossible if you're co-parenting with a grownup.

I don't see how this even qualifies as gossip. "New parents Have difficulty navigating work life balance." Maybe somebody would like to write gossip columns about my life – I have the same problems. As do millions of others every day. Go back to writing about who was doing lines of blow in the bathroom of an LA club – that's more fun.

It's really not that simple... There's also the common concern that your child will become more attached to the nanny rather than the biological mother (the fix to that, though, I figured, is by regularly rotating the staff every once in a while, so your child has no opportunity to get attached to anyone but yourself). Look what happened one of my brothers: He became very attached to one of our nannies/maids from childhood—I think he saw her as a second mother, my mother's favourite son too. (That's your karma for playing favourites, Mother!) I guess if you're maternal that would've been a bigger soul-crusher than finding your spouse cheating on you with the nanny...

Nannies are fun, though, they're how I discovered telenovela and Soraya Montenegro (20+ years on and she's still a meme). Love that crazy bitch. LMAO.
