If the bottom line for him really was "where the money’s at/money first" as you say, he wouldn't have left 1 Direction at the height of their fame when the money was pouring in.

Zayn and Gigi will be going full throttle bearding in the upcoming weeks. They are setting up the storyline that he's moved in with her in New York. It will all be lovingly documented on social Media so everyone will know it's real. The more people call it out as fake the more they will do to combat that perception. From whats been said about Harry he has a real wild side. As to the blind being made up, it could be but plenty of this stuff goes on in members only clubs around the country, frequented by industry people who have more to lose by blabbing their sex lives and substance taking. They talk, they just dont take photos or rat each other out publicly.

The reason why this particular boyband went beyond the boyband phenomena is/was because of the homo eroticism seeping out of every interview, photoshoot and live performance. Yes they do have their 12 year old fans but those fans have aged and moved on. Many of the fans that remain are older, quite intelligent, have jobs and disposable incomes i.e. a marketing dream for any artist. These fans seem to be there because of the sociological implications of a all queer/ bi boy band. It's a one in a million situation and would seem almost destined. Many of these people are gay positive allies but are also stuck on one repeating story. That of "Larry ". Maybe someday 20 years down the line the true story will be told but until then millions of people continue to be drawn into the drama filled abyss known as the one direction fandom.

Jess, I don't disagree. I don't disagree that there (IMO) are gay/bi members of 1D (Harry's outed himself several times in interview and with his actions, social media likes, etc), I don't disagree that they somewhat played the gay card cleverly, whilst also appeasing the Mrs Styles fans and allowing Simon Cowbell and Syco to manipulate them and beard them up with the likes of Swift, Jenner and various models.
I don't disagree that Harry and Louis had, or even still have, a thing going on. What I disagree with is that it is anywhere near the sugary perfect fairytale the Larries think exists. If they did or do have a thing, you can guarantee it will have been a hard road for them, with likely breakups and other people/relationships along the way.
Harry didn't hang out with that foolish fellow, Nick Grimshaw, for numerous months because he was just a good chum whom Louis allowed to paw at Harry for 18 months. They were clearly dating in plain sight. The Larries aren't even in denial about it, they just flat refuse to see it, under their noses.
This Larry fandom doesn't seem particularly interested in out and proud musicians such as olly Alexander from years and years. Cute boy. Great band. Good music. Yet they avoid out musicians like the plague to focus on people who seem to want to stay closeted. I find that to be strange. At what point does lgbt support actually become a sad straight girl fetish?
The saddest part of this all is that several of the most popular and famous one direction beard/pr girlfriends are heavily rumored to be gay themselves (Gigi Hadid, Taylor Swift,Kendall jenner). Which means that these power lesbians rather than coming out and attacking homophobia are assisting a homophobic society to continue and assisting the patriarchy to continue. Even in this scary political climate, they chose the closet and monetary gain over the positive change they could do in the world. I guess if one of them has an attack of concious a snort of coke, some heroin, some alcohol can make that pesky conscious quiet down. If someone does happen to have a strong sense of right and wrong this can easily lead to depression and addiction. But lying to millions, amazing.
