Assuming the point is to try and collaborate musically, I'm not sure it's the world's worst idea. They are both on the down-side of their careers, but both have name recognition, which, put together, might be enough to get a little airplay. If she were Whitney, she wouldn't be stooping to the Bobby B level. So for where their careers are at (and I have no idea about Bobby's drug use situation at this point), they are kind of an even match. Maybe no one would care at all, but I don't think it's a matter of him being too big a star, or her thinking too much of herself by selecting him to ask.
That's some crazy shit going on there. As I too believe it's brandy and bobby.
Brandy had another huge blow up with Monica last week, over social media posts recalling Whitney on her birthday. This is what Brandy posted (among other things):
"Happy Born Day Whitney. You live on in me... I can feel your Spirit inside of me and all around me," Brandy wrote. "My angel, my friend, my fairy God Mother. I love you forever... thank you for trusting me with the torch!!! "
Remember, Brandy and Whitney co-starred in that Cinderella remake, which explains the Fairy Godmother shout out.

Cmon guys, perhaps Whitney passed said torch (or summit else lit) via Ray J in those final days.
Well, maybe she got the torch, but certainly not the voice!
Whitney gave her a note during an interview she was doing with Monica and Clive Davis days before she passed. Whitney handed her another note during some pre-Grammy events as well. Both note hand-offs are recorded on camera. YouTube has all the videos....
