Today's Blind Items - The Payoff

This actress is probably B+ list. She has been married and has at least one child. She doesn't do anything much that is noteworthy. She is a decent actress. There is nothing wrong with her acting. She won't win any awards other than fake ones, but she will always get work when she wants it. Many years ago, when she was first starting out, she was sexually assaulted by a director who studios loved. The studios, several of whom had deals with the director wanted him for their projects. So, they paid off the actress themselves. The studio the director was working for at the time it happened paid off lots of actresses. Anyway, they promised they would get her in a movie for a fee that was five times her normal rate. They also wrote in the contract massive increases in pay should the movie become a franchise. They thought there would be no way it would be a franchise. They were wrong.
