Today's Blind Items - Taken (Almost) A Dancing Boy Blind Item

This one concerns a family production of sorts, and a future dancing boy - by which I mean he was almost snatched as...an infant during the filming. (These are the ones taken to be raised under the spell of Satan, and usually/ultimately sacrificed. The others tend to get sacrificed because they know too much, and may be trying to go public - or just because certain powerful people want to see it, and are willing to pay to watch it.)

Dad wrote the script with one uncle - both were producers, as was the grandfather. Mom acted in it. It has since become a cult classic from the heyday of this type of movie. (Obviously, no actual people were turned into foodstuff.)

Who saved the boy? It was the screen sheriff, of course, known for being a good guy in a sea of industry bad ones. (You should see his one man show that aired on the one cable network later in the same, notorious decade - very moving.) But he was more well known for playing a law enforcement officer on a certain tv series on air at the same time the movie came out - the one about...transportation.

My scene sadly ended up on the cutting room floor, but the scene with the first girl I ever kissed - one of two twins - did not.
