Today's Blind Items - The Movie
The deal to produce this largely-forgotten children’s film, which turns 20 this year, was hatched at the elite wooded “summer camp”. The executive producer was a permanent A-list music legend and long-time member of the camp. He was also a CIA asset. The director was a corporate comedian who was often brought in as an emcee to entertain the campers, when he wasn’t directing the occasional sitcom episode.
The movie was such a mess that it almost went straight to video. The director knew it was bad and was barely trying. The exec producer being a CIA asset? It was Barry Seal type stuff. He was high throughout the whole thing.
