Howard K Stern Walks

Remember when everyone thought Howard K Stern and the two doctors were going to jail and all the charges they face for allegedly conspiring to get Anna Nicole Smith drugs illegally. Yeah, it seemed like there were hundreds of charges. Yesterday though, two of the defendants, including Howard K stern walked away totally vindicated and free while one other person got a slap on the wrist and probation for a year. That is less than a DUI.

I still think they are responsible for her death. They are the ones who made it possible for her to take drugs and to continue taking drugs. If they had not procured the drugs for Anna and she was forced to get them on her own, would she have been able to get them? I don't think so. I am trying to imagine a totally whacked out Ana being able to handle all of that on her own.

Anyway, after the verdict was handed down by the Judge, Howard K said, that the verdict vindicated Anna and that she could not be controlled by anyone. I have my doubts, but the justice system has spoken. Prosecutors said they are going to appeal. I doubt they will though.

Howard K Stern - Guilty

Yesterday a Los Angeles jury found Howard K Stern guilty of a count of conspiring to prescribe prescription drugs using fraudulent means and a count of conspiring to furnish prescription drugs to an addict. One of the doctors on trial was convicted of four counts, while the other doctor was acquitted on all charges. Stern had faced seven charges but was acquitted of the other five. Stern faces up to 3 years in jail when he is sentenced in January.

The most disturbing thing of all to me in yesterday's proceedings was the statement from the doctor who was acquitted. "A victory for patients everywhere who suffer with chronic pain." Umm, yeah, I am all for helping people who suffer chronic pain, but I think the pain Anna Nicole Smith had was from all the f**king drugs she was taking and not suffering the effects of an injury from her exotic dancing days. I could be wrong, but was there ever any proof that she suffered from chronic pain?

A Judge Makes A Joke

In my experience most judges don't really try and make many jokes. When they do try they are rarely funny but everyone feels obligated to laugh like the judge is the wittiest damn f**ker that ever lived.

In the Anna Nicole Smith trial though the judge actually did say something funny. One of the doctor's lawyers was cross-examining Larry Birkhead and Larry was discussing how the District Attorney was pissed at Larry because Larry appeared to be taking Howard Stern's side in all of this. This then led into a discussion about Dannielynn and then money Larry has made from selling pictures of her ($2M) and then that led into an attempt by the District Attorney to talk about reality shows. The judge interrupted with the comment, "I don't care about that unless it has to do with a balloon or something."

Howard K Stern Pleads Not Guilty

This morning, Howard K Stern and two doctors charged with providing lots and lots of drugs to Anna Nicole Smith all pleaded not guilty. The Attorney General of California, Jerry Brown says the three charged "epitomize society's reckless handling of toxic prescription drugs." Uh huh. For their part, the three charged said that Brown is doing it for political reasons and that no one told Anna what to do.

I have a problem with this whole charging someone with a crime because they enabled someone. Anna took the drugs on her own. Howard wasn't forcing her to take the pills. She took them on her own. I would feel more comfortable with charging Howard with something related to Anna's son. Did Howard have any part in that? Did Anna? I think there should be a punishment to the doctors for writing so many prescriptions, but all of the charges seem very vague and I think it is going to cost millions of dollars to prosecute the case. Even if they are found guilty, what kind of message is it going to send? Spend the millions of dollars on something which will actually achieve something. If you want to punish them, take away their medical and law licenses.

I just think it is a waste of millions of dollars for something that will have no effect on the way doctors write prescriptions. The ones who are willing to take money will keep doing so. This seems like a big waste of time and money.

Is Howard K Stern Responsible For Anna Nicole's Death?

By now I'm sure you all have read about how Howard K Stern and two doctors were arrested on a variety of felony counts all having to do with making sure Anna Nicole Smith was kept fully medicated at all times. I understand the two doctors being arrested. They obviously knew she was addicted to pills, and yet they kept prescribing them despite there being no medical need.

What about Howard K? I don't like him and never will, but should he also be arrested for this? Sure, he helped Anna get the drugs, and had the doctors come up with fake names, but there are LOTS of celebrities who get prescriptions in fakes names, or names of family, or even in the names of their doctors. Paris should have thought about doing that. I'm not sure how common it is in the rest of the country, but out here, I don't blink when I hear about some manager who has 20 different prescriptions and none of them are for him. The game then is trying to figure out which of his clients belong to which prescription.

What I am interested in knowing, and what this case will probably not ever bring to light is if Howard controlled Anna with the drugs? Did she know what she was taking? Did he get her addicted to the drugs so she would be dependent on him? Was it because of Howard that her son got addicted and ultimately died? I would like to see someone be held responsible for her son's death. As for Anna's death, if she knew what she was doing, then why should the person who brought her the drugs be held responsible for her death. Howard didn't prescribe the drugs. He found doctors who would be willing to use fake names and who weren't ethical, but ultimately it was Anna who took the pills and made the decision to keep taking them.

I understand the crime Howard K committed. I understand why he was charged, and to me anyway, it is pretty clear that he committed the crimes he has been alleged to have committed. But Where Did He Get The Drugs?

The jury in the inquest of Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel were successfully befuddled by the witnesses that mattered most and have stated that Daniel died of an accidental overdose and that no criminal charges should be filed.

What they don't answer in their report is who the hell gave Daniel the methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro in the first place. They also don't answer how Howard K Stern managed to not notice Daniel overdosing on these three drugs despite the fact they were in the same hospital room for 12 straight hours with Daniel's mom. Never even noticed that Daniel was so heavily medicated that he was going to die? Never noticed in all the years he hung out with Anna and Daniel 24 hours a day that the kid was hooked on drugs that he got from his mom. And who arranged for his mom to have all those drugs? Do you think Anna was calling around to friendly doctors? Maybe it was Sugarpie or Kimmy.

As for Daniel dying in the hospital room, Howard K would probably just say he and Anna were distracted by the newborn. I could see that for about ten minutes. What about the other 11 hours and 50 minutes? This is the biggest bunch of crap I have ever read. The Bahamas needs to show some balls and do something. Ever since this all started they have just let everyone walk all over them and this is no different. I'm disgusted and the people of the Bahamas should be disgusted with the people they have elected to represent them. All it says to the people is that if you have some money, you get to do what you want, including f**king around when people die.

Someone Is Lying

Have you been keeping track of the Daniel Smith inquest down in the Bahamas? In case you haven't, it is getting really interesting. Two days ago Larry Birkhead testified, and yesterday it was Howard K's turn. My conclusion is that someone is not telling the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

When Larry testified on Monday he said that he knew Daniel was stealing Anna Nicole Smith's methadone and that Anna was also his supplier for at least Ecstasy and maybe other drugs. Anna had discovered by using video cameras that Daniel and his friends were stealing her methadone. Daniel had also recently had a problem with sedatives. Larry did change his story this time and said that Anna wasn't the one who gave Daniel methadone. Hey, when you catch your kid taking your methadone and don't stop him from taking it again and again and again, it is thee same as giving it to him. That is just semantics to say she didn't.

Anyway, yesterday, Howard K did his best, "huh?" and "I don't remember" spiel. As far as Howard K was concerned, his impressions were that Daniel had never used drugs and still doesn't believe that Daniel ever took drugs, let alone overdosed on them. He did admit to taking photos of Daniel's dead body, but said they were just for Anna because she wanted to make sure her kid was really dead.

Howard K said he didn't really have any time to spend with Daniel because he was busy with Anna's legal work. OK, that is a big bunch of crap. Howard K was always with Anna and always around. He acts like he saw the kid once a month to just say hello. Uh huh.

It is possible that Howard K and Larry are kind of working this thing together. By having two conflicting versions of the story, then it is more likely that no one will be criminally charged in Daniel's death and that it will be ruled an accidental death. Then, Howard and Larry can get on with the next step of their plan. I honestly don't think we will ever know the entire story. Neither of these guys looks like the deathbed confession type, and definitely will not spill their story to an outsider. I do think though that one of the two will end up dead in very mysterious circumstances at some point.

Larry Birkhead Wants His Chance At Britney

Larry Birkhead wants to do for Britney Spears what he did for Anna Nicole Smith. In an interview with In Touch, Birkhead says he finds Britney to be sexy and that he is looking for a blonde, single woman with children. No doubt, Larry has called Howard K Stern who probably is already sitting in front of the gate at Britney's house and will move in next week.

I just find this whole thing disturbing. I find it disturbing because I could actually see Larry try and make a move on Britney. God knows Britney would be up for anything involving a man, sex and publicity. What would be better in her Adderall inflicted mind than a guy who was with one of her heroes, Anna Nicole Smith. We could all follow the sage of Britney, Larry and Howard and would make for one hell of a reality show. You have a southern blonde with kids who has a history of drug abuse and nudity and some crazy ass relatives. Hard to tell which is ANS and which is Britney. The only difference is that Britney already has money and could afford to pay Howard K for his expertise so he could get off the couch in his parent's basement and start destroying the life of another woman.
