Matthew McConaughey Says Lance Armstrong Is Not A Liar

I'm not sure what planet Matthew McConaughey lives on other than the kind where shirts are not usually worn and Magic Mike gets a sequel, but in said world, Lance Armstrong is also not a liar. In an interview with Details magazine, Matthew says about Armstrong, "He told a lie. he is not a liar." When you tell the world a million times that you did not do something and fool the public and companies who are paying you and ruin lives because of your failure to come clean, I would say you are a liar, rather than just a person who told a lie. Matthew says that he is happy for Lance and thinks everything is great now that Lance has come clean.

Sheryl Crow Gives An Interview About Lance Armstrong - Doesn't Say Anything

You would think that if a news organization has a chance to ask Sheryl Crow some questions that one of the questions might be, "Did you ever see Lance Armstrong cheating while you were his girlfriend and traveling with him every day and night during the Tour de France?" If you would like to be more kind about it, you could ask, "Did you know he was cheating?" If you really want to put on the feather gloves you could ask, "Did you ever get the feeling that Lance was cheating?" Any of those would have been better than what Entertainment Tonight asked Sheryl which was bubkus. Nothing. Nada. They just let her go free form where she said that the truth shall set you free and that she is glad he admitted it and that she saw some of the interview on Oprah. The only reason they even had Sheryl Crow on the program was because of her connection to Lance. So, if that is the case, why not ask the question. It is just embarrassing.

Lance Armstrong Is Still Lying

Investigators say that when Lance Armstrong told Oprah that he had not doped or used blood transfusions since 2005 for competing that he was lying. Apparently there is proof that when Lance returned to cycling in 2009, the blood tests show that he had received at least two transfusions and that is just when they tested him. That does not even count the times where he was not given tests. I think he wanted to try and prove that he had been clean for 7 years so cycling and the other sports where he wants to compete would give him a break. But, if he was doing the same thing in 2009 and 2010, then they will probably just keep him banned for a very long time.

Lance Armstrong Admits Doping - Doesn't Seem That Sincere

What got me the most when I was watching the interview between Lance Armstrong and Oprah Winfrey where Lance admitted he cheated all those years, is that he does not seem to care about all the damage he caused by denying everything all these years and all the lawsuits he filed when people accused him of doping He simply said he did inexcusable things. He ruined lives is what he did. People went bankrupt after he sued them.  He also said that he stopped doping in 2005 and when he made his comeback he did so clean. Uh huh. And that after he retired he never doped in any of the other sports in which he has competed. Uh huh. So, you were doping for years and years and then just stopped? I think he is trying to make himself look good. As I have said before, everyone seems to cheat in cycling, but what makes Lance different is the way he ravaged the lives of people who ever accused him of it.

Lance Armstrong Told Oprah He Cheated

As was expected when he agreed to sit down with Oprah, yesterday he taped an interview with her set for broadcast later this week where he admitted to doping during his career. The interview lasted less than 3 hours and came after Lance had apologized to Livestrong employees but did not tell them he had doped. I guess he was just apologizing because he wanted to be on a roll for Oprah later in the day. Why not come clean with the people who are there following the vision you established? Because they can't make him bank like an apology on Oprah can. Armstrong did not go into great detail with Oprah and she, as her custom did not ask him anything that could be remotely called pressing or a followup or anything touchy.

Lance Armstrong Going On Oprah To Reveal All

I can't think of a better place for Lance Armstrong to admit to his drug use than on Oprah. She won't ask any followup questions and if he has a bunch of things to plug like a new book or project, then Oprah is the place to do that. The interview will be 90 minutes and broadcast on January 17th. It is not so much that Lance cheated in a sport where the top people seemed to have always cheated, it is the fact that he sued everyone who accused him of cheating or trashed the reputation of people who accused him of cheating. He threatened and intimidated with lawyers to hundreds of people and that is the reason to dislike him. They were trying to reveal the truth and he just hammered them down while making millions of dollars doing exactly what they accused him of doing.
