saucyjane said...: Ok so Carly Rae won three Junos, whoop. The most noteworthy moment of the night BY FAR was KD Lang's acceptance speech. She was given one of those awards where they put together a montage of tributes by other artists, which was great. But her acceptance speech was so gracious, so moving, I cried like a baby. Of course because we're Canadian it's barely registering on the interwebs, but it was a master class in how to accept an award.; 2:51 PM

I overheard him say that he was based in a Calgary detachment but came out one weekend a month to pose for pictures with tourists. He sure earned his money as he had a huge line of people wanting a picture!
