Back on the very first season of 16 & Pregnant which begat Teen Mom and a porn star Catelynn Lowell and her boyfriend Tyler Baltierra were alone among their peers on the show in deciding to give up their baby for adoption. Despite that, they managed to make it to the Teen Mom season and have one of the more interesting story lines in the show. We saw them get engaged at the end of the first season of the show and they remained engaged until they appeared on Couple's Therapy which will cause anyone to question their relationship. They remained together though. They are the guardians for Tyler's sister. They both have full-time jobs taking care of mentally disabled adults. They own their own home and each have a car. The money they make from Teen Mom is almost all in savings. There has been a lot of growing up they have shared together over the past six years and I don't know if any of those things would have happened if they had not given up their baby for adoption. It is for that reason that I have always liked them included on the show because you see what happens to teens with different situations in their lives and how their teen pregnancies affect not only their lives, but the lives of their families and the kids themselves.

Jenelle Evans gave birth yesterday to a son who she named Kaiser. That name was expected. So far, Jenelle has managed to not have to give up the baby to Child Protective Services or her mother, but I wonder how long that will last. Sure, there will be a nice little happy phase where things are good between her and her most recent baby daddy. Heck, they might even get married. That won't last though. She was boozing while pregnant, so you know she will be back on the booze and drug train before too long and she will be doing press for Teen Mom 2 and her mom will be taking care of Kaiser more and the next thing you know Jenelle will probably get arrested again and I just don't think she is ready to be a parent. She wasn't ready the first time, and unlike many of her former cast mates, it doesn't look like she has really done anything to prove she is capable now.

Apparently MTV thinks they have enough "star" power to shoot a fifth season of Teen Mom without using Farrah Abraham. According to US Weekly, the former teen mom and porn star turned erotic author and date for hire sets a bad example and they don't want her on the network. Wait. I will be the first to raise my hand and tell you that Farrah is bad example, but MTV makes their living by airing people who are bad examples. Just glamorizing teen pregnancy could be considered a bad example for people to follow. What about Jersey Shore? The people on there weren't exactly pillars of virtue. Buckwild? That show ended when too many people ended up in jail. MTV is planning on moving forward with just convicted felon Amber Portwood and serial cheater Maci Bookout. You know, because they are great examples for the youth of the world.

Radar has managed to get their hands on some texts sent by Jenelle Evans to her ex-boyfriend Kieffer Delp. You remember Kieffer don't you? He is the perpetually unemployed, homeless, drug abusing guy that Jenelle dated for ever. Of course that sounds like all of her boyfriends and husbands, so you might need a refresher.

It's a revolving door in jail for the men in Jenelle Evans' life. She sure can pick a winner when it comes to finding a guy in her life. Her current husband just bailed himself out of jail on his latest drug arrest. Meanwhile, her soon to be baby daddy just checked into jail for 30 days after the judge hearing his case sentenced the loser to 30 days after he was busted driving on a suspended license. His license had been suspended after he picked up his third DUI arrest. Meanwhile, MTV decided they really can't do without more Teen Mom 2 has decided to throw Jenelle a bone and will be paying her for more episodes which she can use for her booze, drugs and bailing her loved ones out of jail. Presumably she might even buy her new child a thing or two before losing custody to her mom or someone else who actually cares about something other than fame.

After five seasons of living off MTV's wallet, Jenelle Evans is going to have to get a real job. I know, I know. If you are an employer would you hire her? Nope. No one will. Do you think she has been saving those MTV paychecks for the past five seasons? Nope. She probably thinks she can make a living making appearances at clubs. Umm, no. She will be in jail way too much for that. Oh, or in court trying to get custody of her latest child back after she loses her child after she gets arrested. She will probably try and land another reality show or shoot porn. I actually think the rest of the cast from that season will be just fine and move on with their lives. She won't and will be in the headlines for a few more years as this all plays out and which jail she will call her new home.
