Chris Soules Did Call 911

Chris Soules called 911 from the scene of a deadly car crash on Monday night in Iowa that took the life of 66-year-old Kenneth E. Mosher.

USA Today reported that audio released on Wednesday revealed that the 35-year-old reality TV personality told the female dispatcher he hit a man on a tractor. The publication also reported that the Des Moines Register obtained the 911 recording from the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office.

The dispatcher asked if the tractor was in the ditch and if the man was thrown into the ditch. Soules replied with a yes. He also added that the man was not conscious.

“Stay on the phone with me,” the dispatcher urged. She is also heard on the recording requesting an ambulance. When asked if the victim was breathing, Soules said he couldn’t tell and “doesn’t appear to be.”

The dispatcher asked Soules if he knew CPR, but Soules said he didn’t. Soules is reportedly heard asking other people at the scene if they know CPR. Then, a person is heard counting out what sounds like CPR.

“I feel a pulse, yeah, he’s got a pulse,” said Soules.

“You guys are on the way?” he asked the dispatcher.

“I’m going to stay on the line with you. We have law enforcement, medical en route to you," she replied.

The recording ends with Soules asking the dispatcher if he can call her back “really quick” before hanging up.

Fox News learned that Soules was arrested on Monday following the fatal incident. According to a press release from the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office, Soules was arrested and charged with “leaving the scene of a fatality motor vehicle accident (a class D felony).

"Due to the on-going investigation, further charges may be pending," the statement read.

“Bachelor” star Chris Soules was arrested on Monday following a fatal accident and is currently in custody at the Buchanan County Jail in Iowa.

Soules, 35, was taken in for “leaving the scene of an accident – a death-related accident,” an official with the jail told us.

“A death occurred,” the official added.

According to TMZ, the reality star was driving a vehicle that rear-ended a tractor trailer. The driver of the tractor trailer reportedly died at the hospital following the crash after the vehicle was sent into a ditch.

Soules has yet to have his bail hearing.

Soules starred on the 19th season of “The Bachelor” and became engaged to Whitney Bischoff on the show. The pair has since split.

So, there were three celebrity breakups yesterday that managed to make the tabloids. One of them was Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin. Apparently Jennifer was sick of all the time Chris spent with The Goopster and didn't understand that whole dynamic. No one does understand it, but she should have been more concerned about his old flame, Alexa Chung and all of the time she spends with him. The other thing is that The Goopster actually likes Alexa and hates Jennifer. Gwyneth also hates Kate Bosworth, but even if Kate would suddenly be single, there is no way that Chris is going to get back on that train again. Someone who went on a date with her once described it as a horror movie where you could feel the life force being drained from you and the longer it went on, the closer to death they came. Sounds like a thrill. Oh, Jennifer blamed her split on schedules. Yeah, like they have not been in the same city almost everyday for the past month, but whatevs. The people out there in supermarket land who only read Kneepads don't know that so it makes for good cover.

Another split recorded yesterday for posterity was that Bachelor guy Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell. No one thought they would last and once they ran through the cycle of reality shows for which they were eligible they both said goodbye. Juan said his goodbyes from beneath a pile of strippers.

The final split yesterday was Debra Messing and Will Chase. With the show Smash no longer on the air and Debra needing someone who can be with her on set of her new show for the few more weeks it has left in it, she moved on from Will Chase and will find someone else on the set of her new show until it ends and she will call it love and romance and blah blah blah. 

"I'm Not Going To Answer That Question." - The Bachelor Recap - Spoilers And All That

Once a season I take a deep breath and watch The Bachelor. It is always the finale because there is no way I can make it through two episodes so might as well make the one I watch the most important. Plus, if I spent more than a couple of hours watching Chris Harrison I would need to take more than my one allotted shower of the day. I can just see him asking every eliminated contestant if they would like to go out with him and talk about it one on one and give them a little head start to becoming The Bachelorette. Anyway, I sucked it up last night and watched Juan Pablo make an ass out of himself with Clare and that she thought from things he had said and done that he was going to pick her. She should be thankful he didn't. So, he picked Nikki. She clearly thought she was going to get a ring and a televised engagement she could use for her reel when auditioning for other jobs but she didn't get it. She just got a rose. He kept the ring in his pocket.

If that wasn't awkward enough, then during the live after show, he chose to make it more awkward.

“So you love her?” host Chris Harrison asked.

“I’m not going to answer that question,” Juan Pablo said. “People don’t understand this is real life. We’re very happy and we are so done with the show.”

The audience started booing and Nikki said they have a real relationship but that Juan Pablo has his daughter to think about and all of his other women too.

Catherine Giudici And Sean Lowe Getting Married For The Paycheck And Fame

Multiple sources surrounding Bachelor winner Catherine Giudici are sharing their story about the couple that is slated to get married on live television in January just in time for sweeps week. They say that nothing has changed between Catherine and Sean Lowe and the couple is just as distant as ever but have decided to see things through because of the money and fame they will receive from getting married on television. Earlier this year when Sean was on Dancing With The Stars the couple rarely saw each other and only came together when there was a photo opportunity or had some other requirement to fill for the network. Catherine spent most of her time out at night with her friends or even alone and met two guys who she still talks to and who she is more interested in than Sean.

As for Sean, Catherine's friends say that Sean did his best to hook up with his celebrity dance partner from the show but that he failed. He loved going out alone so that he could play the 15 minute fame card and loved having women recognize him when he went out. Back in Dallas now nothing has changed. The couple live apart and Sean loves going out at night and being recognized and only hangs out with Catherine when the cameras are rolling.

The plan is to stay married for about a year to see if there is any interest in an anniversary special for television and also Catherine wants a shot at Dancing With The Stars for her own. The couple is also pitching a reality show after their contract with ABC ends.
