Married Brazilian Soccer Star Kills Ex-Lover ***Warning***Graphic

One of the biggest soccer stars in Brazil was arrested last week and charged with the murder of his ex-lover. According to news reports, his ex-girlfriend was last seen on June 7th when she told friends she was going to meet with Bruno, the goalie for Brazil's club champion soccer team. That was the last anyone heard from her.

Reports are she met Bruno at his house where he had an ex-policeman torture her, raped her and when she had begged to die long enough finally killer her. Her body was then cut and fed to the dogs in the house.

The woman, Eliza Samudio (pictured above), left behind a four month old baby who is supposed to be the child of Bruno. When she was five months pregnant, she told Bruno about it and he tried to force feed her abortion pills. Bruno, who is married has said, In the future, I'll laugh about all of this."

He also says he wants to compete for Brazil in the next World Cup. When police arrested Bruno's wife she was taking care of Eliza's baby. (Thanks jax)

Mel Gibson Tape Part Two

Radar went ahead and released the second of Mel Gibson's outbursts. This one is just as bad, if not worse than the first. For those of you who can't remember which outburst goes with which tape, this is the tape where Mel threatens to kill Oksana twice and says she deserves the beating he gave her which smashed her face and knocked out her teeth while she was holding their child.

The Rapist Roman Polanski Set Free

A Swiss court today decided that Roman Polanski should not be extradited to the United States and, instead allowed him to go free with their blessing and to continue making money and directing movies and to provide a beacon for child rapists everywhere that you can run from justice and not have to worry about anything.

One of Polanski's lawyers said it was a vindication and that Americans misunderstand the case. I don't misunderstand anything. If it is just a misunderstanding then tell him to come to the United States for a visit. To say that I am disappointed and upset is to put it mildly.

Marvel Trashes Ed Norton - Ed Fights Back

On Friday, the head of Marvel said that Edward Norton would not be back as Hulk in the Avengers movie. Unfortunately he did not say it in a very nice way. What he did was basically call Ed Norton a pain in the ass to work with and that they wanted someone who would get along and not be a stuck up celebrity snob.

"instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members."

Well, Ed Norton was not happy to be trashed in such a public way so his agent decided to issue a statement. I guess Ed could not stand up for himself so had his people fire off a missive.

"This offensive statement from Kevin Feige at Marvel is a purposefully misleading, inappropriate attempt to paint our client in a negative light. Here are the facts: two months ago, Kevin called me and said he wanted Edward to reprise the role of Bruce Banner in The Avengers. He told me it would be his fantasy to bring Edward on stage with the rest of the cast at ComiCon and make it the event of the convention. When I said that Edward was definitely open to this idea, Kevin was very excited and we agreed that Edward should meet with Joss Whedon to discuss the project. Edward and Joss had a very good meeting (confirmed by Feige to me) at which Edward said he was enthusiastic at the prospect of being a part of the ensemble cast. Marvel subsequently made him a financial offer to be in the film and both sides started negotiating in good faith. This past Wednesday, after several weeks of civil, uncontentious discussions, but before we had come to terms on a deal, a representative from Marvel called to say they had decided to go in another direction with the part. This seemed to us to be a financial decision but, whatever the case, it is completely their prerogative, and we accepted their decision with no hard feelings. We know a lot of fans have voiced their public disappointment with this result, but this is no excuse for Feige's mean spirited, accusatory comments. Counter to what Kevin implies here, Edward was looking forward to the opportunity to work with Joss and the other actors in the Avengers cast, many of whom are personal friends of his. Feige's statement is unprofessional, disingenuous and clearly defamatory. Mr. Norton talent, tireless work ethic and professional integrity deserve more respect, and so do Marvel's fans.

Why can't we all just get along? I have no doubt that Ed probably asked for a bunch of money. Way more than anyone else was asking for. Oh well. I didn't think he was that great as Hulk anyway.

Lindsay Lohan Loves Doctors - Has Six Writing Prescriptions

It seems like if you are a doctor who loves writing prescriptions in New York or California chances are that Lindsay Lohan has stopped by your place of work. The woman loves her prescriptions. TMZ has uncovered that Lindsay currently has prescriptions from six different doctors and dentists in the two states, plus is still getting prescriptions filled by one of her rehab places. Lindsay has not been to rehab in years. What kind of self respecting clinic would be prescribing Lindsay medicine when they have not seen her in years and isn't a rehab clinic supposed to be keeping you off drugs? It seems to me they are doing the exact opposite.

Whenever a doctor says no to Lindsay or stops refilling her prescriptions she just moves on to the next doctor on the list. I still don't know how she got a dentist to prescribe Dilaudid for one wisdom tooth being pulled. You know what though? That dentist probably has a waiting list a mile long for celebrity patients and drug addicted patients now. His business is probably booming.

Meanwhile, you remember all those psychological tests Lindsay is supposed to complete before going to jail? She has not even scheduled any of the appointments. I guess she does not care because it just cannot get any worse for her so why even bother.

Also, her lawyer that quit, is still on the job. It seems that despite all the rumors Lindsay has hired another lawyer, Lindsay still has not filed a substitution of attorney form with the court so the judge has told Shawn Chapman Holley she has to stay. For now.

Weekend Of Weddings

As anticipated, this weekend was filled with weddings. Lots and lots of them. It was like everyone decreed that somehow July 10 was the perfect day to get married for celebrities.Carrie Underwood got married over the weekend to hockey player Mike Fisher.
Over in Italy, John Krasinski got married to Emily Blunt.Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian, and Lebron James were in New York City to watch LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony get married.Even Martin Lawrence got married. The comedian and his very, very longtime girlfriend must have decided to go ahead and really make July 10, celebrity wedding day. While everyone else had all out weddings and receptions, Martin did his at his house. Granted the couple did have 120 people show up including Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington, but it was at his house. That must be a big house. 120 people?

Jude Law Gets Wife Swapping And Infidelity Out Of Sadie Frost's Book

Sadie Frost has been writing a book for some time now. The book, entitled Crazy Days, is supposed to be about her life. Naturally her life includes a significant portion with Jude Law. Well, Jude recently slapped her with a 100 page Writ which demanded she take out entire sections of her book. This week, Jude won. That is not something you would see happen here in the States, so I am wondering if she can get the original published here in the States so we can see the really juicy stuff.

Jude's people have been saying that all he has wanted removed are pictures of their kids. That seems to be a lot of crap since there have been lots of photos of their kids published including entire spreads in magazines that were shot for the magazines and not just pap snaps.

Allegedly the main reason Jude wanted portions of the book removed were they dealt with his cheating on Sadie which has never really been discussed on the record. Oh, and allegedly the other main thing he wanted tossed was all that partner swapping he and Sadie did with Danny Goffey and Pearl Lowe. See, Jude does not think that people are ready to hear all those stories about him. He especially does not want the cheating stories so close to his wedding with Sienna Miller. Hey, wasn't she the one he was cheating with. Yeah, can't have that.
