Today's Blind Items
As it stands right now, we are about $600 short of the $1500 goal set for today. I really want to reveal those blind items. Thanks to everyone who has given and for your comments. The first show is shaping up to be great.
#1 - This former Hills star, or at least she thought she was is spending what is left of her money on her oxycontin habit. Guess that pain was too much to handle.
#2 - This former A list movie actor. I mean he was A+ not that far back in the day is in talks to be the first celebrity on Hoarders. You cannot even get into his house despite the fact even Camille would think it was large.

I can understand how you could get addicted to oxy. I had a few after my root canal, and I was feeling panicky when I ran out. Luckily, I had no access to any more.
I like the Nic Cage guess because he is a huge comic book fan and I can imagine his house full of comic books and that type of memorabilia like statues and such. The only problem I see is that he is married and has a family, I think our hoarder would be single, no?
@lanasyogamama, I was prescribed pain killers after I had the baby last month. I was surprised when I got them it was Oxy. I didn't use any because I figured getting hooked was not in my best interest, what with a newborn and all, but you better believe they're in my medicine cabinet for a rainy day.

i don't know who the actor is but i think heidi is the obvious choice for #1.

What about Steph Pratt? She's a pain in the ass, thought she was a pretty big deal and has had substance issues in the past...

The only thing that makes me think it's not Heidi is the "at least thought she was". Heidi was most definitely a star of that show, maybe not in the last season, but the entire 2nd and 3rd seasons revolved around her (I hate myself a little for knowing this).
I gotta think it's Lo or Stephanie, as they were never officially "stars" of the show, but they certainly thought they were.

The best 8 weeks of my life was after foot surgery and a never ending supply of oxy. until my foot dr. cut me off and the party was over.

Heidi was a star of the show, but Enty might be referring to when she and Spencer tried to get more money than Lauren, because they thought they were more important than her.

#1 definitely Heidi. Spencer said numerous times that the Hills were nothing without Heidi and that she was the star, and the "pain" is a reference to her coming out and saying her 10 plastic surgeries have left her in severe pain.
I know #2 is a guy from the wording, but I remember a year or two ago, there were reports about Kate Jackson (Charlie's Angels) being a big time hoarder. Reports said her home was full of trash and filthy and that she apparently had mental issues.
I think the Hoarders people need to get in touch with her.

I can't imagine it being Nic Cage. I think he's agorophobic -- super anxious/panic attacks at the ... well usually at the thought of not being able to escape. I've seen him in public though (decades ago) act like an utter and total freak at being anywhere near where people might recognize him. While he probably has lots of other phobias and weird habits too and on the surface thus would seem a good guess for the hoarder, I'm thinking no way in hell is he talking to anyone about allowing a bunch of cameras into wherever he's living for the whole world to see whatever mess he's living in. Never, ever.

I'm not thrilled with ENTY continuing to push for the money - it has the michael lohan i'll give you info for the right price feeling. I think the fans of your blog (and I count myself among them) are very loyal and have given what we can - this feels like a crude way to milk more money. Offer a certain # of reveals if certain amounts are donated - the all or nothing approach is beneath you. :(

Oh and when I broke my wrist (which was my first bone break and surgery) I was so surprised how casual the doc was about asking me what pills I wanted to have post surgery. I asked for the lighter stuff as opposed to what I call "Elvis Pills" i.e. Percosat, Vicadin, Oxy, etc. lol
and so he gave me something with Codiene in it of which I only took a few (I hate feeling doped up).
Anyway long story long, lol, I mentioned causually to numerous friends that I didnt finished my perscription and I was just baffled by how many people lite up at that and excitedly (there was no other word but this) asked for some of my remaining pills.
I get that pills are useful when u are in pain but the sheer number of people that imbibe recreationally is sooo intense and scary to me, i mean some of these people who asked were friends in grad school for teaching, painters, just normal people in their 20s....so weird

Congrats to all the baby momma's. I had my latest in late march '10. Almost at a year....goes by so fast. They had me on Oxy with her and the one before (they were giant babies...Giant!) Didn't like taking it but my husband kept making me to get me to sleep.
@Jasmine, that would be Tylenol #3, and yeah, it really is amazing how many people our/your age take them like m&m's

Exactly who I thought of except he was/is drug addict and I think during his last "reality show", it showed him selling everything he could get his hands on to support his habit. I would imagine he wouldnt have anything left to hoarde.

Wow. All you guys got Oxy and Percocet after having a baby. Most I ever got was 800 mg Tylenol. LOL! Congrats to all the new moms!
had the oxy after surgery last summer - never finished the scrip but for a couple of days, boy, the naps I had! : )
@Lioness70-I had an emergency c-section (he was squeezing the cord) the first time and a uterine rupture from one side to the other, down through the cervix (he was completely out of my uterus just under my skin)/c-section/4 hour surgery the second time so that's why I got good stuff :) TMI? Maybe. I think they generally give Percocet/dan for c-sections, but some HCP's give Tylenol #3 (acetaminophen plus codeine) for lots of things. My mid-wife prescribed some for me for back pain during pregnancy because she knows that I don't complain about little things and I was almost in tears. Maybe your doc is more stringent. There are some like that.

For #2 I like the Nick Nolte suggestion. Some years ago the sister of a friend met him on location and said he looked dirty and homeless. Unkempt hair and she said he wore ill-fitting clothes and his trousers were too long and the cuffs were all frayed from walking on them. I'll bet his house is a wreck, too.
My prescription pill story: Had outpatient surgery a few years ago and the surgeon prescribed 40 Hydrocodone. 2 weeks later I count them to see how many I've taken, and I have SEVENTY-ODD pills left. I called the pharmacy manager to let her know (didn't want someone to get fired for stealing pills) and she said the # of pills should have been circled and initialed. It wasn't.
Ugh. I got Percocet after having my boy - let's just say they were VERY necessary. I needed all of them plus another script for another two weeks (four weeks in all). I am still having issues 2 years later, but that's another story.
As for the blinds, i am guessing Heidi for 1. 2 is tricky - no way it is Tom Sizemore - he doesn't have much money so the "...even Camille would think it is large" reference doesn't fit. It has to be someone like Al Pacino or Jack Nicholson. No way would Nic Cage let someone into his house - as a previous poster mentioned, he is a nervous wreck.
Ok after hearing El on those radio shows, there is no way he a big boy, he doesn't have the wheezy or heaving breathing that is associated with obese folks, IMO
@ selenakyle: You must be my long lost sister b/c the exact same thing happens to me. I can't take percocet or vicoden and if I do I'm violently ill. Praise Jeebus I live somewhere that I have a medical marijuana card!
Pills interfere with wine consumption and that is simply unacceptable. I only utilize pills if absolutely necessary. Plus, they make me feel "car sick" most of the time. :/

Heidi wasn't THE star, and I took the way he wrote it that who ever it was didn't just think of herself as a star but THE main attraction and she wasn't.
She has talking so much about how much pain she was in after having 10 surgeries in one day. I don't see how it could be anyone else.
I've only recently begun to donate to blog sites I frequent and here I face a conundrum. This is the smartest, most civilized gossip community on the web. Well, also celebitchy. But this was the first to set the tone. And it is more a community than any other.
Perez overdoes the ads, and it's true he's established a strong media platform for promotion, but I can't believe his audience is more appealing to advertisers than this one. So where are the bigger-time ads that would help support the site?
A radio show, when it looks like ENTY hasn't invested much in this site? And it's pretty obvious there are different writers that maybe he pays and that the site isn't as good as it was at the beginning.I don't know. Seems like a random thing to do and not part of any bigger plan.
I don't much like the sporadic begging for support money. I would rather donate for a revamp of the site to make it more appealing to advertisers, and then selective ads. I would donate if I knew who enty was but I'm so uncomfortable with the anonymity, especially when the best stories aren't current. It just seems unnecessary.
Like I said, a conundrum.No decision yet.

I go with Nick for #2. The Camille reference might be from RHOBH where Camille was always shown flirting with "handsome and married" Nick.
Mango/Grape (Hee!) you can't jump around in the audio if you're using Firefox, but if you use Internet Explorer or Chrome, you can jump to the time where Enty comes in. Just think how awful it was for me to track those two clips down - I had to listen to multiple intros to her show before I found the right ones. She's like fingernails on the chalkboard of your brain!
On the ad issue - yes, Enty needs a better system, but he also doesn't get nearly the number of hits that D-Listed or Perez do. There are places out there that you can find how many hits they all get on average.
Why donate? Isn't he an entertainment lawyer? 1500 should be no problem for him.
