Brittany Murphy May Have Been Poisoned - Maybe
The problem is that both of them were loaded down with all kinds of drugs and medications which were also toxic and were not in good physical shape to begin with. The police never followed up on this and Brittany's hair was tested in the investigation. I would be the first person to jump on the Brittany death train conspiracy here and would always have blamed her husband if he had not died shortly after. Then the blame light starts looking at Brittany's mom but detectives were looking hard at her for a long time and couldn't find anything.
What I think is more likely is that Brittany's dad is writing a book and wants people to buy it. I think what he should focus on instead is why Brittany married Simon Monjack. That is one of life's great mysteries.

I think her passing was sad, but was under the impression that they did a full autopsy on her when she passed. Would't they have tested for poison while they were in investigating her husband for foul play?

The mother lived with them, and despite dealing with cancer, she's the only one still standing. Strange indeed.
The only reason I don't think the mother was responsible, is because Brittany was her meal ticket, so it wouldn't make sense to off her.

I would be on board with that Surfer, if her mom wasn't caught in bed with her husband about a month or so after she died.
Then he died of the same 'mysterious illness'.
Why didn't it affect mom?
He was obviously her beneficiary, who knows what mom was trying to get from him with the whole 'in bed' thing.

I don't think they were killed. It seems like the dad is trying to make a quick buck. He also is apparently trying to "clear" her name, since she is seen as a drug addict. I still remember watching the VMA's and wondering what the hell happened to her. It was right after 8 Mile, she was scary skinny, and clearly high. It's a shame that she was born with these assholes as her parents.

I knew of someone who bought a house turned out to be mold infested with the more toxic form of mold and because he had an allergy to mold in the first pace, the exposure made him more susceptible and he became very ill and died.
Now if you are doing drugs would you know you actually were sick from exposure?
So sad, she was so young and beautiful. Rude to say she wasn't talented when she def had some great roles in. It is strange she got involved with this grifter type of guy. She was engaged two times before to very successful types of guys. To bad she didn't stay with one of them instead, because it seems this guy started her downward spiral that led to her death. Rat poison, the southern girls secret weapon. Called a cup of "shut the fuck up". Ingested slowly you cannot taste it but it will eventually build up and kill you so it looks like a heart attack.
Loads of women who have been abused use it so they can just get away from their abusers (daddy,husband)and no doubt loads of innocent men get dropped by women wanting their insurance money.
Is it a typical ingredient in meth? Lotta shit in there, rat poison, I do not believe, happens to be one. But then I've never made a batch of meth and Breaking Bad didn't teach me anything.
Never did meth but ha a friend who it ruined. During that experience we found out that his meth had been cut with both ray poisen and battery acid . So apparently they just throw in a bunch of shit that can kill you and say fuck it , good luck bitch
I always thought the rat poison myth was created by pimps and dealers so people wouldn't try anyone's stuff besides theirs. Who the hell would cut their drugs w/ rat poison? You want to facilitate addiction to maximize profits, not kill off clientele. Bad enough there is so much baby laxative in coke that the shit houses in bars get blowed the fuck up constantly.

She was a known drug addict. If you found high levels of rat poison it's quite possible that the sh*t she was getting was cut with it. No real surprise here.
I've always thought the two deaths were fishy. Same with Anna Nicole and her son.

Besides she was also a know crack user....and I strongly disagree she was not unbelievably talented. She was a triple threat--singer actress dancer at one point. She had a great singing voice and was excellent in dramas like 8 MIle and Girl Interrupted. She was also good in goofy films like Clueless and Uptown Girls (I saw it once babysitting my niece --guilty little gem of pleasure)
You aren't snorting battery acid, you are snorting a product that is the result of battery acid having a chemical reaction with another substance. Like you can't drink hydrogen or oxygen, but you can drink H20.

Her mom is strange, something strange went on there. I have heard AIDS rumors about her death before. I tend to believe that or drugs killed them.
