Scott Baio?
Or Ricky Schroeder-was there an allegation there?
Definite Xmas movie dude
AC Slater?
Baio has no Christmas movies on his CV, so not him.
Collins?
I am thinking someone from The Brady Bunch.
Silver Spoons never had made for TV movie movie specials. Saved by the Bell had one that I can remember. Zack and Kelly got married in that one.
Mario? whats his name from Saved by the bell?
Is she still underage?
Maybe Rob Lowe? Not the first time being accused of this referencing his infamous sex tape with a mother and daughter, claiming he didn't know the daughter was 16. he was on The West Wing, made a film in 2002 called The Christmas Shoes. There's an actress, Amber Marshall, in it that would have been 14 at the time.
The blind says the TV show ended up making many made for TV movies, one of which was a Christmas special.
@Melvin the Reanimated
The West Wing did not make a ton of made for TV movies.
No, TW, THE actor becoame a made for TV film staple, who did a Christmas movie. Not the show he was on.
I’ll guess one of my first thoughts then-Hasselholf b/c Baywatch had TV movies and many Xmas episodes. It was in NBC before syndication .
He made a tv Xmas movie in 2012 calmed the Xmas Consultant
I know his wife accused him of inappropriate behavior with daughters ,not sure on their set though(BW)
guys, this is Enty's typically wonky grammar. First off, this is someone already accused of something -- Hassellhoff and Lopez have not been formalyl accused. Second, its not the network show that was turned tv movie staple, it was the actor. He went from a TV show to many TV movies. And one film he did was a Christmas movie.
Dean Cain?
DC was on Lois and Clark and has made a lot of TV movies, and a lot of holiday TV movies, but I don't know if he's ever been accused of anything.
Tom Wopat
Sara, I done did think you got it. Wopat has been accused, starred on Dukes of Hazzard (which did launch tv movies, so it does fit that criteria people place d on it) and made a tv movie called Christmas At Willow Creek.
I think the Hoff
Eliza Faria is the minor. Hoff was on that Christmas made for tv movie with her.
I think Melvin is right, it is the actor that turned into the TV movie staple, not the show. But I am somewhat used to the problematic writing style here by now.
I don’t want this to be Dean Cain
Agree with Melvin's translation and also agree this is Luke Duke (aka Tom Wopat). :(
Just for kicks-- Ian Ziering? Network hit being 90210? Currently on all those Sharknado movies?
I think Sara got it. Tom Wopat checks all the boxes.
Previously accused? Yes.
Former A lister who starrted in an old hit tv show? Yes-- Dukes of Hazard
TV movie staple? Yes
Did the SHOW become a tv movie staple, as some read it as? Yes, in fact. There were several DoH TV movies
Did he do a Christmas movie? Yes-- Christmas At Willow Creek
was there an underage actress in it? Okay, that I don't know, but there is an actreess named Charissa Rose in it who is a one and done credit on that movie, with no bio information, which sometimes indicates a young person who never worked again.
@Melvin
Thanks but I don't think Rob Lowe made a ton of made for TV films.
A lot of actresses do well in that market. As far as former male TV stars, off the top of my head I can only think of
1. Rick Schroder
2. Mario Lopez
3. Tim Mathison
4. Anthony LaPaglia
5. Michael Gross
6. Scott Bakula
Agree
Andrea Tantaros from Fox made an accusation
No woman wears skirts that leave nothing to the imagination like Andrea does unless she wants you to take a good look
well.
Learning that Cain has been accused -- albeit back in 2011-- changes things up a bit. He has a ton of Xmas movies on his resume, many of which put him with underage girls.
This is Dean Cain. In retaliation for him saying that NFL players who "took a knee" should meet with Trump to discuss who should be pardoned because they were mistreated by justice system.
OK...bash away.
"A very hit network show turned made for television move staple."
Does that mean the show became a made for TV movie staple? Or just the actor? Because it's Tom Wopat for the former and Dean Cain for the latter.
I originally thought maybe Kirk Cameron, because he was in the hit show "Growing Pains" and then made that horrible Christmas movie "Kirk Cameron Saves Christmas" (pretentious much? OMG). But were there any "Growing Pains" reunion movies? I don't recall. Wopat or Cain probably better guesses.
Stephen collins
Damn it! Tricia -now I can't get the image outta my head of an intoxicated Hoff going down on an in-and-out burger
Wopat over Cain. "Dukes of Hazzard" was a massive hit, getting as high as #2 in the ratings in 1980-81. "Lois and Clark" was successful, but never a Top 30 show. So only "Dukes of Hazzard" was "very hit".
Dean Cain was my first thought.
Going way out there. John Stamos, Gabrielle Anwar. How to Marry a Billionaire from 2000, which was sold as an xmas flick. Gabrielle would have been dancing around the magic age of 18 while they were filming
@Ddonna Tarttty
There was 1 Growing Pains reunion.
Kirk is a staple in Christian films, not made for TV movies.
Oh! What about Fred Savage? He did one with Candace Cameron.
Luke Perry? He is a tv TV movie staple and there was a blind last week or week before about him being persecuted for this type of thing under another name.
I think Enty means that his post-series work was mostly made-for-tv movies (like for Lifetime, Hallmark, etc).
Luke perry was just a random guess for that blind, and an incorrect one. The teens on Riverdale are played by adults not underagers.
Could it be John Schneider, he was also on Dukes and in the same Xmas movie. He was in a lot of lifetime movies, but I dont remember Tom being in any.
Also, Joe Penny was king of lifetime movies for a while, and he was in several popular TV shows. Dont know about Xmas movies though
Strange how all these guys have similar careers, should be a warning sign.
Sorry Lyla—- that was a gnarly thing to behold indeed!
If it didn't say "mostly tv", my guess would have been Randy Quaid
Michael J Fox.
When I say "Wo!" you say "Pat!"
Ebenezer (1998)
A Wild West retelling of Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol,"
cast :
Jack Palance (as Scrooge)
Ricky Schroder
Amy Locane
Michelle Thrush
Susan Coyne
Zoe Rose Hesse
Darcy Dunlop
Jocelyne Loewen
Heather Lea MacCallum
Brenda Shuttleworth
Karina Frislev
Lara Huget
Christine Huget
Céleste Huget
Katie Rowan
The rhythm of this site points to the Dukes of Hazzard related actor. The show was in the news very recently because another lead went to serve a jail sentence for being a douche about keeping up with child-support. So, Tom Wopat fits best for this BI.
And Fuuuuuck Bo and Luke Duke - I can't believe Boss Hogg was right about them boys all along.
