Not a great photo of Ben Kingsley, but don't think I have seen him in a photo with Ralph Fiennes previous to this so, figured Ben wouldn't mind. Plus, he's kind of an ass anyway so it kind of works.
The last time I remember someone taking a photo of Britney Spears on a balcony she had her hand down the front of Kevin Federline's pants. Now she is waving it to the world. Try not to think about it too long, especially if you are close to a meal time.

JK Rowling's new book hits stores on Thursday. Just in time for the holiday season. I'm excited for the book. Kind of cynical about the whole not going to write anymore Harry Potter books but sure as hell going to exploit the name for all it's worth.
This is no dig on Jennifer Love Hewitt. I'm glad she went and served meals on Thanksgiving. It is a great thing. I just wish that celebrities would show themselves at homeless shelters and food banks the other 364 days of the year when there are not cameras around.

I think anytime you have the opportunity to put Richard Simmons in the photos you have to. I have never seen someone who has to be "on" all the time as much as Richard Simmons. He's unusual, but there is no denying he makes lots and lots of people happy.
Didn't realize I had two photos of Britney Spears in here. Sorry. Apparently even when you mime a song it gets great ratings. When Britney was on X-Factor it got the highest numbers it has ever had for basically nothing except the record playing in the back. Why does she even have the microphone?
I'll probably go to hell, but Sienna Miller doesn't look horrible here. Keira Knightley also looks good.

wow starbucks is donating a whole 5cents per red drink to global aids, way to be generous!!! tis the season, you would think they would be a little more generous seeing as they charge 5$ + for a small coffee!!!
Richard Simmons is a total sweetheart. I met him when I was working in the cosmetics department of Saks Beverly Hills a couple years ago. I was working on a customer when he noticed me staring him down ... he instantly started mocking my makeup application skills -- pretending like he was drawing lipstick on himself!
I excused myself to my customer then ran over to him and gave him a BIG old hug and thanked him for helping me lose my pre-teen chub with Sweating to the Oldies 3 ... he was so gracious and sweet about it.
It's nice to see that Helena Christensen doesn't even touch the Starbucks. Afraid of fat by osmosis? ;)

Hey - Jim Kerr/Simple Minds. Awesome! Saw them in the 80's. My big brother took me when I was a young teen and we had front row tickets at a small club. It was fantastic and a great memory - especially when Jim Kerr held my hand and sang a verse from Don't You Forget About Me. He wore fantastic gold shoes. *sigh* I love the 80's.
The UK was very unimpressed with Britney and her miming. She even had the nerve to diss Simon Cowell on his own show by making the judges wait in the corridor for that photo op. Basically, she came over here and did fuck all, and got a lot of money for it. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Graham Norton looks a lot like how I expect Pamela Anderson to look in a few years.
Mario is the only one who looks happy to be there. It pisses me off that the celebrities look so damn pained to be working a faux charity event. (I'm with the reader above--5 whole cents per drink? Please.) This shouldn't be about publicity, it should be about eradicating AIDS from our planet, and the only one who seems to get it is Mario.
Sam Neill is awesome. I hung out with him one evening during a festival. Totally down to earth...and kinda drunk, too ;-)

The only time Slutty Miller looks good is under my tires. But thanks for the photo of Viggo. It is almost a wash.
Maybe Starbucks could've done more, but props to them for doing anything at all. 5 cents a cup probably added up to a huge amount of $ for the cause. I used to be reluctant to give to charity because I couldn't afford their "minimum" requests, but now I just say to hell with it and tell them "all I can give you is $5." If you get enough people making small donations, it will add up to big bucks in the end.
