Is Taylor Momsen A Cutter?
Yesterday I posted a photo of Taylor Momsen and said she looked normal compared to her usual looks. Most of you thought she looked like a cracked out 16 year old. Hey, that is still better than her normal look. Normally she looks like a heroin addicted 16 year old. Anyway, I was going through the pictures again and spotted this one and blew it up real big for you. Just click on it to see it in all of its HQ goodness.
Notice her wrist. What exactly is that? I was thinking she might be a cutter, but she would probably have other marks elsewhere on her body and not just confined to that one specific area. I'm also wondering if perhaps she didn't try and kill herself, but there appear to be scars that are also on her wrist which are older and more faded. I am sure they will be explained away as an allergy or a rash or that she got into a fight with a cat. That story or explanation would go away quickly though if other pictures from earlier dates could be found which show the same scars or marks.
What do you think? Cutter? Suicide attempt? Smallpox test? Or is it just my imagination?

I don't know, those look more like road rash than what I have seen of a cutter's scars. She probably fell down somewhere but was too wasted to get up without scraping her arm up.
I had a boyfriend who used to cut himself when he was a teen and he showed me the marks. These don't look anything like the cut marks I've seen on others. They tend to use razorblades, non?
These look more like fresh scars from an accident, they're round and symmetrical, so I think she hurt or burned herself accidentally.
Why is everyone supposed to be a cutter nowadays? Is that the new craze? The tabloids also suspected Selena Gomez (or was it Demi Lovato?) to be a cutter.
Anyway, I think you're imagining things here, Enty. Those marks do not at all look like cuts and just like Lisa (original) already pointed out those people use razorblades to cut themselves.
What looks weird, though, is that mark on her collar bone. Is it a birth mark or a sore?
It looks accidental. A lot of cutters (not all) cut in places where they can hide the scars - like the top of the leg or further up on the forearm. Those marks look like she fell or scraped herself.
No, these aren't cutting marks. They wouldn't be on that part of her hand. These look more like burns, something accidental.
She needs to take a blade to that eff'd up hair.

My experience is that all cutters use razor blades and most try to cut somewhere it won't be seen by others. That said, I think a fall of some kind is probably the culprit. Do heroin addicts fall a lot? Not that I'm suggesting she's the answer to a blind or anything.....
I'm also on the fell down wagon - they're mostly on her hand rather than wrist, though it DOES look like she put cover up on them. I recognize the signs of that for sure.

It looks like a bruise, like she braced herself for a fall with her hands/wrists.
She could have been a spaz and fell and scraped her wrist.
I can't see it well enough to be alarmed.

Laugh as you will, but I have a similar arm from trying to give my best friend a piggy back ride while extremely drunk through a parking lot..probably just a drunken tumble
If it was anything self inflicted, it would have to be like a cigarette burn but she would have had to be really loaded on her heroin to burn herself like that.

Eczema. I have the same thing in almost the same spot.
She's definitely not a cutter, she'd have thin white marks all over.
wow, i'm surprised nobody caught this.
those are lipstick (or eyeshadow) tester marks. when you go to a store and test out lipstick, it's pretty common to test it on the back of your wrist to see the shade. if you look at the colours and widths and consistency of the marks, it's obvious (to me, at least) that she was trying out different cosmetics against her skin tone. that's all.
She probably does what my sister used to do to hide her track marks: she'd shoot up (notice it's on her left hand, which means a right hand shoot-up) and then have one of her episodes of cutting, conveniently over her track marks.

I have no idea what the fresh marks are, but I don't think they are self inflicted.
If you look closely there is at least one old linear scar across her wrist. What we used to call a chicken mark.
Yeah, they tend to hide cut marks. That bf I mentioned hid his cuts high up on the interior left arm.
i really don't know why anyone, Enty included, feels that it's appropriate to comment on the potential of anyone, let alone a 16 year old girl "cutting herself." It's a serious problem, and as much as I love criticizing celebrities, this is just sad and pathetic. and that thing on her arm is nothing a cutter would do. I just find this whole post completely distasteful. Please don't be like Perez Hilton. Let's strive to do better.
My daughter was a cutter... no taylor isn't a cutter.. there would be a lot more scarring on her wrists.. that looks like an accident or something... it's angled ..
it looks more like indents from a bracelet thats too tight or multiple bracelets. Even if she is a cutter who the f**k cares leave her be!
