Courtney Loses The Bean - Talks About Hookers For Ex-Boyfriends And Spray Tans

TMZ just posted that Courtney Love lost legal control of The Bean on Friday. Kurt Cobain's mom and sister were appointed temporary guardians to the 17 year old. The only time something like this happens is if the parents cannot properly take care of the child. Judging from Courtney's status updates on Facebook it doesn't look like she really even cares. Today she has shared that she once got an ex-boyfriend a hooker for his birthday and that she misses Michael Stipe and someone named Julie and wants to get a pizza and a spray tan.

Seriously? You just lost legal custody of your child and you are talking about this kind of stuff? That is messed up.

"oh jesus, i once got an ex ex boyfriend or whatever youw ant to calthat creep a hooker and i guess it must have been thru this chick, i didnt do the "getting: however. it was a bday present arent i just the libertine!"

"pizza and a spray tan wondering how the Corg is doing miss Stipe and Julie want to see them, doesnt pizza in a cold nyc night and a spray tan sound ridiculous!"

Thanks Kris.

Hell, she may not even have been sober enough to realize what happened.

CL doesn't seem like a good parent. FB is 17 and I wish this had happened when she was a child.

Nosey I think she DID lose FB for a while but then got her back.

Its meth. I lost one of my best most beautiful and brilliant girlfriends to that drug. She lost custody of her son, would write the most insane nonsensical ramblings online and went on a downhill spiral she could never quite back from. It broke my heart. Every time I read one of CL's rants its a dead ringer for my gf's strange and drug fueled babblings...so sad :(
I am glad her daughter is with her grandma. Poor Bean.

Yes Courtney, it does sound ridiculous. Of course, everything you say sounds ridiculous, so we aren't surprised.

how the Corg is doing? apparently hanging out with Jessica Simpson. Weren't Corgan and Courtney "roommates" a couple of years ago?

You would think that at age 17 they would just legally emancipate Francis Bean rather than transfer custody. I live in Texas though and down here they pretty much consider kids adults at 17 (probably so they can execute them easier). Hopefully Kurt's family can get her life stabilized so she can become a functional adult unlike her mother.

I think Kurt's mom had custody of the Bean a few years back after one of Court's overdoses, so I hope she will bring some stability into her life. Once CL was asked about losing custody and she said that no rock stars have custody of their kids and the reporter replied that Madonna does.

Too bad she didn't lose permanent custody from the womb seeing as CL did drugs while pg (I think I recall that).

"No rock stars have custody of their kids."

Wow.

To be fair, Madonna is not a rock star.

So I guess this confirms what is apparent from her "writings", that she's not sober...

I wonder at what point in her life Frances realized she couldn't depend on her mother as a stable, reliable influence.

Is she still even a rock star?! Seems to me she's just tabloid fodder now. "Live Through This" was a long time ago.

Ms Cool: yep, she did heroin while pregnant.

So sad.

This is one of those times that makes me wonder why God/Fate gives the gift of children to the wrong people.

As I recall it, (and I could be mistaken), in regards to doing drugs while pregnant, Courtney said that she may have done heroin one time before she knew she was pregnant. Obviously she could be lying and her lifestyle has not been very stable for a child. It is always sad for both the child and the parent when something like this happens.

I never thought "Live Through This" was that good.

Earlier than you'd think. I'd say pre-school age. I've known kids whose moms were/are addicts, they know Mommy's not right very early on.
