Kneepads Sinks To New Lows

We all know that People Magazine is the creme of the crop when it comes to ass kissers. It's fine. They are what they are. They were the first to report on the whole Reese & Jake split though and didn't back down. But the good stories are few and far between and now they have reached a new low in the boot licking department.

They ran a story today about Kim Kardashian and how she is spoiling her new nephew with clothes. Typical fluff piece and I only read it because I had nothing else to read. Well, it turns out that they didn't even talk to Kim which is fine. There is nothing wrong with using sources, but I want you to read this quote and let me know who you think the source is.

"The day after big sister Kourtney, 30, gave birth to her first child with beau Scott Disick, Kardashian hit one of L.A.'s trendiest shops – Intuition – for Baby Eggi clothing."

"She was super excited about her nephew and loved that she could scoop up some cool stuff for him!" says a source.

Kardashian loved a "peace" hoodie, designed by celeb tattoo artist Mark Mahoney, specifically because "she thought the design was really unique and unlike anything out there," says the source. "And she thought the days of the week onsies were just adorable and something that Kourtney would love and could really use."

Seriously? I hope the owners of Intuition paid big bucks for this story. This is just an ad for their store. It is nothing but an ad disguised as a story. At least most web sites say paid advertisement or set it off somehow. This is just an ad disguised as a news article. Oh, I am sure People thinks it is a news article but I fail to see how this is news at all. It is like reading a catalog from the store. It irritates me to no end.

Lol - is that the "peace" hoodie in the picture? Because if it is, to say that it is "really unique and unlike anything out there" makes me laugh and laugh and ....

Ugh, I was watching CSI:NY last night, and was appalled at the ass-licking they were doing. Kim Kardassian AND Vanessa Lemonjello were both guest stars, as if there aren't a kazillion real actresses out there who could have played the parts a million times better. Kim made me freaking cringe she was so awful.

Anyhow, yeah, the Kneepads story is an ad. Because I can't think who would even care about this crap.

That is a very saccharine and nauseating ad. If I wrote copy like that, I would get fired.

Very disappointing that Gary Sinise would put up with that. Or maybe he had no choice. Such a great actor. Saw him on off Broadway in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and he just blew everyone away. He shouldn't be subjected to no talented hacks like that.

Dear Kim,
When trying to sell merchandise please do not be a dumbass and stick your arm in front of it.
It blocks what you're trying to sell.
Thank you

Only idiots pay inflated prices for "name brand/designer" baby clothes. Nobody else gives a shit except Twit and Twat (Kim and K-howeveryoumisspellhername) and the baby is only going to vomit on it and outgrow it in 3 weeks! Dumb asses.

from a marketing standpoint, it's an obvious plant...but wowwwwww, that's some ad space! i so need to know how much intuition and the tatoo guy they're pushing paid for so much real estate in kneepads.

I don't understand why these women are newsworthy.

Can Kourtney "really use" the days of the week onesies because she needs the onesies? Or because they'll help her remember what day it is?

Hahaha, that's hilarious. I read the first sentence and knew what the store was trying to do. If those Kardassian bitches came in my store, I'd be mortified.
