Lindsay Lohan Saves 40 Children The First Day
I don't know if you have been reading Lindsay Lohan's Twitter updates from her time in India but at this rate she is going to save the world in about a week and a half.
"Over 40 children saved so far...... Within one day's work...... This is what life is about..... Doing THIS is a life worth living!!!
How exactly did Lindsay save these kids? She doesn't exactly say. I am all for her changing her life around but she makes it sound like she pulled 40 kids to safety or maybe she taught them how to steal to make a buck.
By my count she updated her Twitter about six or seven times the first day. I don't know how she can find the time in between saving all the kids. She also saved a bunch of kids from sex trafficking presumably during her lunch break from saving the impoverished kids.
"Traffiking is a big issue here, I'm what I can, and I will continue to do so as long as life when time permits it."

Shes taking all those nasty drugs she can find in India, so the kids wont be exposed to drug use.

there are so many people out there that do so much more and don't even WANT recognition. it defeats the point of helping IMO.

whatever difference she is or isn't making in the lives of impoverished children--it's apparently giving her purpose. let her ride that wave. she needs it. i stand firmly by the belief that she may not be 'saving' anyone, but the experience may end up saving her. we should be thanking the bbc for taking that risk on her. lord knows no other organization was brave/crazy enough to do it...

Why doesn't the BBC just buy these children themselves? And set up a home for them? Feed,clothe, and educate them? Or try to trade Lindsay for them?
Define "saving", Linds. Having them carry your stuff and follow you around doesn't count.
I have decided that Lindsay's tweets are incomprehensible because obviously she is cracked out but also because she is practically illiterate. This is what happens when you forego a basic education for "stardom". This is your future Ali.
Wonder why she also tweeted to Cash Warren that she'd landed. She must be trying to fuel those rumors.

I'm with Pookie on this one - I don't think for one second that Lindsay Lohan saved 40 children (unless, like someone pointed out, she took all the drugs that would have been taken by these 40 children otherwise) - but she is obviously finding some purpose in some kind of charity work and/ or documentary filming. So let her have it. The tweets are stupid but they beat seeing pictures of her emerging from people's house at 7 am with her eyes radiating white guilt.
I think that means that she handed out money to 40 people - but hate to break it to ya, Linds... but Mother Teresa you ain't (wrinkles aside)

I think maybe the trafficing she is referring to is the drug trade, and she is doing her part by consuming as much of it as she can, therefore saving lives of children who would have done those drugs had she not been there.

She's not doing charity work. BBC is paying her to be there. No one in there right mind thinks she's doing anything out of the kindness of her heart. Maybe it will inspire her to get involved in the future. Only time will tell.
