Jeff Conaway Badly Hurt In A Fall
As much as Jeff Conaway was the butt of jokes on VH-1 for his drug addictions and his health as a result, you always get the feeling that he wish he could go back and change everything and get himself right. Many times when you watch the addicts on these programs they don't care about trying to fix their life and just keep on going. Yesterday Jeff Conaway fell down some stairs at his home and and suffered a broken hip, a broken arm, a fractured neck and a brain hemorrhage.
I have to wonder why he even used stairs. He can barely walk with the aid of canes or a walker so I can't see him going down even one step let alone a flight. Here is hoping that everything works out for him.

That's too bad. I was just watching Grease a couple of weeks ago. I love the Greased Lighting song and dance. From what I understand, it was during the filming of that scene that caused the injury that sent him on his downward spiral.

he really does seem like a nice guy, and i hope he makes it through this in good health...im also with michael k in thinking that his girlfriend had something to do with it...if you've ever seen them together...jeez =(
if he recovers, he'll be even more fucked up than he already was. shit, he could very well be paralyzed.
there's something kind of endearing about him, but he's the poster child for what drugs can do to you.

wow, everytime i saw him on celebrity rehab the depths of his addictions and inner turmoil were so apparent it was sometimes hard for me to watch him.
i wonder, how do they treat addicts when something like this happens to them? what, if any, kind of pain meds are given?
i really feel for the guy.
ballyhoo, if he isn't currently in rehab, he can get whatever he wants as long as a doctor sees fit to prescribe it. it usually depends on severity of pain/injury and history of abuse.
lets hope no one pushed him down those stairs...c'mon you're all thinking it

Sheeeiiit, I have friends who would lie their freaking asses off or throw their own grandmama down the stairs for one measly xanax.
I had a lady wanting my cast-off prednisone one time (that I refused to take when prescribed for a nasty bronchitis). She said it makes her feel like she's on coke! Man, it's a wierd, wacky world we live in.
...That would be much better off IF POT WAS LEGALIZED.
Amazed he's still alive. Hope this recovery time doesn't get him re-addicted to something or other.
I feel really bad for him. He's really just gotten to be kind of a pathetic person. :(

Maybe he threw himself down the stairs to get away from the Evil Vickie! She's baaad news! It was painful watching them on Celeb Rehab. Poor Jeff. What a waste of a life! John Travolta was supposedly trying to help him. Oh, maybe that's it. He was trying to run away from the auditors!!!!! :-0
I think Vickie is a bit bipolar to say the least and she is addicted to drugs herself plus they had a very volatile and violent relationship. I can totally see her rolling his wheelchair down the stairs with him in it or "accidentally" knocking into him and knocking him down the stairs. I believe there is much more to this story. But I pray that he gets well.

jax may be right. i knew someone once who fell down the stairs.....multiple times. she did it until she broke a bone so she could go to the ER and get narcotics. it's unreal what people will do.
Word, Selena. Look at what happened to Owen Wilson. He bottomed out on coke with Coogan, then got all happy and healthy smokin' it up with Woody.
How sad. My first thought was Vicky pushing him. They are so toxic together. I wish him the best but I wonder if it will push him even farther down into a black hole.
I have met them, while coordinating a film Jeff had a large role in, in 2004. He was intense and weird, but professional. Vikki came to visit near the end of his time with us. She was...intriguing, as people have seen on TV. Not a healthy relationship. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if she had a significant role in this "accident".
