Speaking as a speech pathologist:
Yes, Kirk Douglas has poor speech, but the guy had a stroke and has worked very hard on his speech. I think it's great that he is not ashamed to be out in the public eye and speaking on camera--I use him as an example to my clients who are wondering if they still have any value after a debilitating stroke.
RIP Teddy. You will be missed.
