Yikes! Either the photo lens was set in a strange way, or Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams have heads that are disproportionately large compared with their bodies.

These were some really, really, really horrible dresses. I don't know who Eugenia Silva is, but she had the only semi-decent dress. And I'm not normally one to bust on people's fashion, but man! These are just awful. I love Elizabeth Banks, but what was she thinking?

Juluette Binoche is going to get a pass on that dress because her skin really does look incredible.
Maybe Lionel is just posing with Kelly but they would be kind of a cute couple.

I thought Elizabeth Banks had a fetus pinned to her shoulder. That dress is slightly, um...busy.

ReplyDeleteFYI, Michelle and Ryan are there promoting "Blue Valentine." I saw it at Sundance. Lousy movie! Ryan's very good in it, but it's a flashback/flashforward mess and Michelle's character as NO depth! Save your money if it gets to your town.

michelle does look beautiful! i think it's how the dress is draped in the front that's a little bit unflattering on her- maybe if there was a smidge less fabric in the front it'd make more sense. love her hair, too!
ReplyDeleteelizabeth banks' dress would have made more sense if they'd shaped the mini part of the dress differently- like rounded the corners off a bit so it compliments the draping back of the dress. i see what the designer was trying to do. close but not quite.
cheryl coles dress... gosh, i want to love her dress so badly. something about how it's sitting on her- it's like her gown is wearing her and not her wearing the gown...
eugenia silva on the other hand. WOW. never heard of her, but i already love her style. gorgeous!
