Courteney Cox & Brian Van Holt
When I posted the cover of Star Magazine for the John Travolta and Kelly Preston story, I noticed the headline that implied Courteney Cox and Brian Van Holt were having an affair.
They even have a picture on the cover which is circled to show you the couple may, in fact be holding hands.
The story goes like this. Courteney and Brian are co-stars on Cougar Town. They have been spotted out together four times since the show stopped filming back in April. The photo with the circle was taken on May 7th. Looks incriminating, but the question mark they use on the cover and the language they use in the article shows they have no idea what is happening.
“They were drinking beer and having chips and salsa in the back of the outdoor patio,” says an eyewitness at Coral Beach Cantina. “They looked like they were holding hands at the side of their table!"
They looked like they were holding hands is not the same as they were holding hands. The article continues with this teaser. "Things got even more intimate when the two parted ways after dinner and Brian gave Courteney what appeared to be a kiss goodbye, says the eyewitness."
In LA, everyone kisses and hugs goodbye. That is nothing. And, they are not even saying it was a kiss. If you read it closely it says it appeared to be a kiss. So, basically no kissing and no holding hands, but maybe an affair. I don't think Courteney would mess around with dinners and lunches and hiding. I think she would come right out and say it. I also think that if she wanted to be with another guy, David would say ok.

Never seen the show (and don't plan to, either) but this dude looks way hot in this photo!
Also, DA looked quite the buff gentleman in the recent Lakers kerfuffle photos.
Courteney and I have the EXACT same birth date and year. And if I had handlers, trainers, lipo, botox, and everything else under the GD sun, I'd look this good too. So there!
Past blind items about Coxes would point to an open marriage.
ok, so they ARE having an open marriage or what's being said is that she a very upfront person and would just come out and say "I wanna be with this guy".
Where is her wedding ring?

Cougar Town is a much funnier show than the title would imply. Brian Van Holt is a smoking hottie, and I'd hit that six ways til Sunday.
The only thing funny in Cougar town are the men (especially Brian). The women are horrible. I can laugh at men being stupid, but watching women just being mean and/or stupid pisses me off.
OMG! Sharing beers, chips, and salsa?? Now that's serious.
Oh I agree with Little Miss Smoke and Mirrors- Cougar town is actually good- it's silly, but it really is about family & friendship and is much more than the title implies.
oh and PS I think Grayson on the show is way hotter???

Courtney is a 20+ year veteran of the Hollywood scene, and a witness to the Aniston/Pitt/Jolie triangle, so I have to think that she's smart enough - if she were cheating - to do it in a less conspicuous place/manner. She's way smarter than this story suggests.

if i had to pick a hottie i'd pick grayson...dude who plays him was on "swingtown" and was hot on that in an uptight way.
I would so love to see David give a 'Cher' style licked finger notch in the air and then proceed to get his freak on.

I know people are imperfect, have affairs...blah, blah, blah...but I am sooo sick of people behaving like this when children are involved. What about the kids??? Isn't there anyone left who is devoted to their families anymore? Geesh.
@Angie: So you're not allowed to go out and have a beer with a coworker? I'm in the IT industry and there are are no women. If I go out to lunch or a happy hour it is with another man. Unless I hear different, I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt.
