Kendra Is Now A Single Mom

I suppose Kendra Wilkinson wants us to feel sorry for her. I can't think of another reason she decided to call herself a single mom. In the new issue of Life & Style, Kendra says that she left her husband Hank because she felt more comfortable on the west coast. She of course had no such issues when Hank was playing for Philadelphia and her show was doing well.

Her woe is my pity party continues when she says that she will force herself to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with her husband and son in the very cold weather of Minnesota in a very tiny hotel room.

"I'm going to go back to the minus-2-degree weather to spend Thanksgiving, baby Hank's 1st birthday and Christmas in a small one bedroom hotel room with my husband and son. That's all that matters to me." Umm, besides the pretentiousness and dig at the fine state of Minnesota, if this was all that really matters to her, she would have stayed with Hank in Minnesota. I want to be clear that I don't really care where she lives and if she wants to focus on her barely still there career, then more power to her, but don't feed me the line about being together is all that matters because that is not what you are doing in your actions. Just be honest.

im confused about the whole thing. is she still with hank just living apart?

I have no sympathy for this girl. She knew what lifestyle she was getting when she agreed to marry him. Now that he is no longer near a big media city, she bolts and runs?! She should never have married him in the first place. Shoulda dated him for the publicity (which was his appeal afterall), had his kid (ditto) and then broken up with him. He is at fault too. If you know your career will take you to non media towns, don't marry an actress, dummy!

I couldn't being more than a few nights away from my husband, but I do love him so.

Why doesn't Kendra just hook up with Christina and get this all over with.

MommaSaid said...

What a selfish woman. I'm quite surprised at this separation. I was kind of rooting for them.

I have to say I just got married yesterday :) (me and my now husband have been together 5 years) and back in July when I had surgery, I had to spend 1 night in the hospital and he went home for the night....neither one of us slept well that night...so I could not imagine what she is thinking....

Congrats Preciousredtx!

I have no sympathy or interest in Kendra whatsoever. She has always been dead in the eyes and went out of her way to make profits off her sex tape while claiming it was "embarrassing". I feel sorry for Hank, though. Once a trick, always a trick.

BigMama said...

well I mean really, she is kinda funny in that Jerry Lewis / half wit sorta way. But did anyone really expect her to make any sense what-so-ever? I hope little Hank inherits his daddy's intellegence (tho marrying her seems to diminish his as well)

*snark snark snark* going back to my cage now.

Patty said...

Um, this is why "for better or worse" is in the vows. It's not like he plans on living there the rest of his life. If she can't put up with this for a few months, they are doomed.

Jackie said...

I never liked her, and her dig at my homestate pisses me off. It doesn't get below zero all that often, and in fact it is in the 50s today. Ignorant dumbass!

I'm actually happy for Hank to be free of her.

Dirty Disher said...

I think this is a tiny bit unfair. She has to move constantly due to his job (s). It's tough, even with money. I'm an old grandma who finds Kendra's life entertaing.

timebob said...

This is why you don't marry people you have only known for six months.

Kristen S. said...

Minnesota is a lovely place with lovely people (like me - only I don't live tehre anymore).

And we don't need or want her stinkin husband on our team anyways. He can just go somewhere else and take that Brett Favre with him while he's at it.

Terri said...

So he can overlook her Playboy past, her stripping, her centerfold lifestyle and yet she can't adapt to living in Minnesota for a few months? She needs to grow up.

blue sky said...

I agree with Terri - Hank can forgive and forget about her whoring around - especially with an 80 something year-old man, but she can't move to wherever he plays. That's what happens when you marry a professional athlete - duh! Hank seems like such a sweetheart. He could do so much better than her! Her son would absolutely love playing in the snow too. Speaking of their baby - nice job keeping him away from his daddy. What a deadbeat mom!

MacVixen said...

Don't care about Kendra and Hank. Want to know more about the sidebar story - Heidi & Spencer broke and homeless? Couldn't happen to two nicer famewhores *cackles gleefully*

If he's going to be living in Minnesota for a chunk of time, is a professional football player, and presumably makes money....can't he at minimum rent a house? Her boo-hoo woe-is-me I have to spend Christmas in a hotel room attitude is as rediculous as she is. No sympathy whatsoever.

mooshki said...

Um, Minneapolis has plenty of luxury hotels, and the entire Downtown has a skyway system, so she'll never have to go outside if she doesn't want to. What we lack is paparazzi.

I can see it was true love....ah

I imagine the main problem Kendra has with Minnesota is that the magazines there aren't clamoring to put her on their covers, or throw out red carpets for her everywhere. She doesn't get the publicity she loves there - so it's no "fun" for her. Boo hoo.

You can see the handwriting on the wall here. And I'm so tired of these Hollywood-loving women with their high-rolling lifestyles and nannys and personal assistants calling themselves "single mothers" when the fathers are away making movies or playing football or basketball. It's an insult to every military mom out there trying to hold their family together while the dad is deployed, or the woman who's struggling to hold down two jobs and raise 4 kids because her husband walked out. Or those of us single parents who really have to raise kids on our own with NO help, financially or otherwise, from anyone.

Sorry about the soapbox - this just struck a nerve today.

skeeball said...

@Sue, I totally agree with you!! Where are the magazine covers for the men and women left behind while their spouse is overseas serving their country. Some of these spouses left at home are at military bases far away from family and friends and probably live on 1/20 of the money Kendra lives on! They suck it up and get on with it. She totally needs to grow up. I mean, come on! Does she not know how long the football season is?? Did she not realize you can be traded or that the players travel. I guess after being with an 80 year old for so long, she has forgotten men can get out of their bathrobe and move around.

Hi Everyone - first time poster, long time reader. Reading your comments are the highlight of the day.

Listening to Kendra complaining, drove me to finally post a comment. I agree with Patty on the "for better or worse". As a military wife, I've had to adjust to being away from my husband for months at a time, living in places I would never have been to other than a flight layover, having to start my life all over everytime we move, it's called sacrifice, my dear Kendra.

BTW, we were recently stationed in North Dakota, and I think Minneapolis is a fantastic city. Kendra has nothing to complain about. She and her family would have a perfectly quiet normal life, but I guess that's not what she wants.

Sorry for the venting :)

Sue said it better than I could have.

Welp. The good news is that Minnesota now has one less skank in their midst. I like people from Minnesota a lot, they're just like Canadians. In fact, I'd be willing to give them an honorary citizenship.

chihuahuense said...

We don't want her here anyway. And current weather is 53 and clear, it has been a wonderful fall and who wouldn't love to spend one Christmas up in MN with snow falling and cheer! My first Christmas in this state was awesome, because I had never experience snow during the holidays. It doesn't seem like a big sacrifice for your family.

sunnyside1213 said...

I moved to Minneapolis from New Orleans and almost froze to death. However, Mooshki is right. She would never have to step outside but the no paps are a deal breaker.

Sue Ellen Mishkey said...

^^^You're a big reason I love Minnesotians so much, even though you're not *really* from there.

Sue Ellen Mishkey said...

That was to chihuenaunsse (such a hard name, girlfriend) though you are a nice person too, sunnyside.

Robert said...

@chihuahuense: How do you pronounce that, anyway?

Sue Ellen Mishkey said...

and what does it mean?!

chihuahuense said...

lol@Sue Ellen thanks!!! :) We'd have you here any day of the week, and I agree that Minnesotans and Canadians share so much. I love to hear both speak :) The best is listening my little old men patients argue--they sound like Grumpy Old Men (the movie).

@Robert-Che-wah-when-say. Meaning: from the state of Chihuahua in Mexico. My husband likes to pass me off as Mexican and explains my blonde hair and blue eyes by saying that I am from Chihuahua (many people from there apparently have blonde hair and blue eyes).

Meg said...

^Ditto what Robert said. In my head I pronounce it: chee-juan-ese :)

I liked Kendra/Hank but I feel like she is def. the one to be selfish here. I understand not wanting to move around alot but she knew what she was getting into w/ marrying an athlete. I don't know how much money her show/etc. brings vs. what Hank makes but, if it were me, I'd rather be with my husband full time than living somewhere I preferred. I just don't get that mentality but obviously this has demonstrated her selfishness.

Has she really come out and said she "left" him? Or are they living separately b/c she doesn't want to travel w/ Hank???

Meg said...

@chihuahuense - Well, I was way off, but I figured it had something to do w/ your husband since you mentioned he was from Mexico. :) That's funny he says that.

annabella78 said...

shocking that kendra is shallow. shocking.

Sue Ellen Mishkey said...

I never attempted to pronounce it in my head because I do not know Spanish at all, so I pretty much just went chee-hue-en-sss...then gave up. I love the Minnesota accent and do it all the time for jokes. I feel like I can because almost every America I meet says "eh" to me. :(

Sue Ellen Mishkey said...

Sorry, American.

Patty said...

@Marianne, Welcome, welcome. And thank you for your sacrafices.

chihuahuense said...

@MCH, yeah, it's even funnier when you hear me speak spanish ;)

@Sue Ellen, my MN accent is pretty good if I do say so myself :) That 'eh' thing is funny, because I consider that a MN thing! I had never heard it before I moved here. The other day, my almost 4 year old was talking to my husband and said something like, "Ese perro fue realmente grande, EH?" We about died, poor kid is gonna grow up with a Mexican/Tennessee/MN-Canadian accent!!

Sue Ellen Mishkey said...

And he'll probably be a lady killer with that accent, too. I think it's probably border states that know about the eh thing. Never had anyone from Florida say it to me, or Texans, but I don't think they're in a position to be teasing anyone for their accents. ;)

Kim said...

If she got a life, Kendra wouldn't need to depend on the Paps to create a life for her.

MN is a wonderful place to live; high quality of life here....and not the deep freeze that everyone seems to think. Our winters have gotten WAY shorter and not as cold as when I was a child-- (*thanks global warming* said with tongue in cheek)--its certainly HOT here in the summer months....this is one of the most beautiful cities (parks and many lakes) and a city that is one of the biggest art meccas in world. The Twin Cities metro area is not a "po'dunk-two cows sittin' out in the middle of the street" city!! When you come here---you're greeted with sophistication without the bullsh*t!

But hey--we have enough small minded folks...one really don't' need one more...she can drop the kid off and continue making her way to the west coast...if she can find it!

audrey said...

If you get to spend Christmas with your family it shouldn't matter if it is in a mansion in Hollywood, or in a hotel room with room service--or a Motel 6 in Washington State (my best Christmas ever btw). It is being together with the people you love that counts--but something tells me she only loved what was in his pants---and I am talking about his wallet.

weezy said...

What Mooshki and Audieh_1 said. Wouldn't it make sense for her to be in MN *now*, while the weather is relatively mild, then go to Cali. after the holidays with baby, if she must? She's afraid that if she stays in MN no one will "know" she's there, and that's the whole point of her existence. I guarantee there's a Twin Cities groupie setting her sites on Hank now that he's up for grabs. That's Kendra's plan -- let someone else get him so she can get a divorce and position herself as a victim.

chihuahuense said...

@Sue Ellen-yeah, either that or he'll be fun to mock, eh? ;)

parissucksliterally said...

Kendra is an idiot. who is listening to her talk?

KLM said...

@chihuahuenese - LOL - I am cracking up at what your kid said, eh?! My little one is really starting to nail the Spanish more than the English, but I think it would be AMAZING to throw in a nice Canadian / Northern accent. Although, I suppose growing up with my American accent (and his father's odd Curacaon / Dutch / Spanish accent), he probably will speak with some sort of accent. Luckily his full time babysitter is Panamanian.

She could fly in for the weekend to show support Hank at the games. The Viqueens do play indoors at the Metrodome, ya knoooow. (A little "Fargo" humor there.) This has got to be killing Hank's parents, and this isn't helping his career at all.

@KLM-Holy moly, that is too much!! I bet no one will EVER guess where he is from...state or country!! If that is him in your picture, then he looks like he could be from many different countries, too!

@Blue Sky, she would never hang with the Viqueens, she makes it seem like she is so down to earth, but I think that is just as fake as her tits. And I think it is, "don't 'cha knooow?" LOL!!!

chopchop said...

She should thank her lucky stars he wasn't sent to Green Bay. Now *that's* BFE, and I can say that with honesty and love because I grew up about 30 miles south of GB.

I'm sure most of her complaining is because she won't get any attention ... we Midwesterners don't really get starstruck and we certainly have no interest in porn star golddigging whores.

*waves at chihuahuense* While I'm no fan of your football team (winkwink), I still love my neighbors to the west. Yaaaaah.

chihuahuense said...

lol, I'm a college football fan, not NFL so no worries! And I spend Thanksgiving at my Uncle's in WI, so I have to *pretend* I like GB at least for a day. Just don't come between me and my Twinkies, you're lucky Brewers are in another league :)

AlexT said...

Kendra probably can't even spell Minnesota, much less find a way to entertain herself here. She probably hit the road after she spent an entire day at the megamall waiting for people to notice her, and it didn't happen.

Char said...

@valerie - Actress? Really?!

Seachica said...

@char...do you really think Kendra *liked* being with Hef? Anyone who could fool him for that long qualifies as an actress in my book. I'm not saying she's a good one, but good enough.

warmislandsun said...

I have to walk to work in the midwestern minus degree winter. Poor Kendra.

Robert said...

@Chihuahuense: One more: MCH said she pronounced your name "chee-juan-ese" and I seemed to hear it that way too(as if it was a language you could speak when conversing with dogs) before I took the time to sound it out. Way to pay attention, huh? Thanks for clearing that up.

Char said...

@valerie... good point!

I can't blame her about the snow. In a little over a year I will only ever visit snow again, or cold temperatures, when I want. I hate snow - except when I want to visit it. That is all.
