Amy Winehouse Paid $1.5M For Two Hour Concert
The last time Amy Winehouse tried to sing more than four songs was way back in St. Lucia when she got to about song number five and pretty much just gave up. The previous four songs had been a lot of music, some mumbling by Amy and the occasional word when it would pop back into her memory. Definitely not worth even five dollars. But, proving that people have more money than sense, a Russian businessman paid Amy $1.5M for a two hour concert last week. Yep, someone decided she was worth it. Apparently the guess was correct, because Amy was supposedly pretty good. Still though, that is like Beyonce or Mariah Carey money.
If you are in Brazil, you can catch Amy next month where she will be performing six shows and will be paid about $500K.

back to wino. 500K for 6 shows is actually on the low to mid range end, assuming she does full sets. i can assure you once upon a time she commanded more. applause to her peeps for scoring a promoter able to advance six actual dates.
I am in Brazil but don't care about her and she's getting robbed. With the abusive price of the tickets here I doubt she's getting more than 25% of what Ticketmaster (or whoever is doing this) is making.
Back in Black was in 2005 how is she still relevant to people and that kinda money.

She is a talent with issues that get in the way. Can't wait for the biopic in 10-15 years.

She needs to get clean and get back to her 'Frank' weight and look and make music.

If I paid $1.5M for an Amy Winehouse concert, I'd lie and say she was pretty good to. If I had the luxury of attending said concert I'd lie and say she was pretty good too but secretly think WTF??
