Tea Leoni And David Duchovny Split Again
I think I have David Duchovny in the reveals this time around. He did something to someone which is not unusual. This is why he and Tea separated before back in 2008 and many people whisper they actually got divorced in 2009, but they kept it on the down low. You know, if you really ant to keep things secret, you can. Their reps confirmed they split again but don't know if they are getting divorced. Last time it was because David got busted cheating. Maybe this time Tea busted him or just read the site and guessed it was David. Probably just busted him. I think this time someone probably has someone and they are going to be seen in public with that person so wanted to alert the media so everyone does not think something shady is happening. I remember a blind item I did about them a long time ago and not sure if I ever revealed it about how one would have to pay the other to show up at events together. Did I reveal that already?

I know this is a little off-topic, but I've always found David to be a distractingly-bad actor. I just watched a couple of old X-Files episodes, and Gillian can act CIRCLES around him.

@Ida Yes! I do too! I once had a conversation with someone about why Gillian Anderson got much more award attention than he did, and my response was "have you seen the show?" I've watched a few episodes of Californication, and he hasn't really improved. I think he just plays himself.
According to blindgossip, they divorced in 2010 and have moved on to other people. And they just now decided to announce their separation? Enty, thanks for the extra info. Excellent m'yes!

I loved X-Files, still do I guess, but Gillian was my favourite, he added comic relief IMO.
I also love Tea so hopefully she will move on to bigger and better things, hopefully she will work more now.

God this picture is evidence of how cruel time is. Bad actor or otherwise DD was HOT on the X-Files. Hot enough to make me watch the entire damn thing even when it got totally bizarre. But I can barely look at him now, he looks so, so gross. Hence my total rejection of Californication.
I've never doubted that he is really smart though-- but being smart doesn't necessarily make you a good actor. Agree he just plays himself. Even early on the X-Files there were random references to Mulder watching porn or calling 900 #s that I think DD had written in bc I think he had some control over the plot/writing more than a normal actor would.
I loved him in the Red Shoes Diaries and Return to Me, but that was a long time ago. He just seems like a smug perv now.

I hope Tea moves on to a nice lovely man who treats her well. After finding out you were in love with a total asshole who could give a crap less about you, it would make a nice change.

@Whomever I think that's what he means, i.e. that there will be a(nother) Duchovny reveal on the 4th of July - it's how it reads to me anyway.

Well, an actor hooking up with a costar could be considered fairly common/ not unusual. in 2008 he shot xfiles film for first 3 months, then started filming Californication in April/May. Then did The Joneses in November 2008, i think. Ted / the awful truth revealed a blind last year on Duchovny, "Sylvester Schlong" i think was the name Ted gave him. It was for hitting on an assistant on Cali, (who refused him), so hopefully it is something else, and more juicy! That Ted blind quoted Duchovny saying to the assistant that his marriage was like most hwood marriages, just for show.
I swear there was another blind later that referenced the couple that charged each other to come to events. But I can't remember it exactly, and I'm not having much luck finding it. :(

@trashtalker, i wondered that too, but the list letters seemed off - he did work with Susan Sarandon's daughter on Cali, but i wouldn't consider daughter D list. New people aren't d list, and Eva amurri hasn't done anything scandalous to be a dlister. She got good reviews on what she's acted in. Tea could be C or B-, the David as a Bplus fits.
I heard he's hooked up with at least 1 extra on the set of cali, but just made out, didn't sleep with. There were so many women on Cali, i wouldn't be surprised if it was some chick from that.

@trashtalker, good work! I was almost on board, until the DD also being gay part. I think that for various reasons, 1 being Ted thinks most actors in hwood are closeted, and has declared only a few to be def 100 ;percent straight - DD being 1 of them. I also know too many people in the business who know all the closeted ones and have asked any rumors about D and none have heard a peep. Totally don't get that vibe. I called Neil Patrick Harris when i was 15 & watched Doogie Houser.
@califblondy: I looooooooove Return to Me! It is my all-time favorite rom-com, and he is so good in it (even thought I am really not a fan of anything else he has done). I'm always so excited when someone else remembers that movie! <3

OK HUGE X-Files fan here and the rumors have always been David D with Gillian Anderson. Ted C has hinted at this for YEARS. Even rumors that one of Gillian's kids is David D's.
I loved X-Files and I love Californication, but I agree - he's not a great actor...*L*.
OT; I watched "A League Of Their Own" the other night and just discovered that Tea Leoni is in it. Plays for the Racine Belles and appears for like a split second in the final game :)
@Jamie's girl Tea is just as bad. People should google her first marriage, to the naked truth producer who was married to someone else when Tea started seeing him. I don't know if true, but i've hear around town that she's got her own side action and has for years.
