This A list female talk show host was prescribed some pain pills recently but told the doctor hers were better and she had plenty to spare. The doctor then asked if she ever combined her pills with booze and she said like candy. Our talk show host then said something about it being what she is best at. It was a really sad situation that she tried to make light of but the person in the room who heard it said the whole conversation was extremely sad.

So, either Handler brings a friend to her doc's office, orrrrrr, she blabbed the story later to a non real friend, orrrrrr, this is BS. I'm not falling for a med person gossiping about patients.
I believe the blind,but not the set-up. I can't believe this conversation happened within ear shot of anyone. Whenever my doctor or nurse practitioner converses with me they close the door and would probably close the blinds too if I asked. My medical office is totally afraid of this kind of thing since so many get fired for it.
Could have been others in the room. Duh.
If this happened, there are some very serious HIPAA violations that would cost jobs and thousands of dollars in fines.
