Unknown said...: Cate's a 44 year old actress. Her shelf life is limited. She's got kids and a husband with a marginally profitable theater company in Australia to support. What she earns from doing ads, if wisely invested, will keep her solvent and secure long past the day when she stops getting lucrative movie roles.

There is only room for one Meryl Streep in Hollywood. I think Cate's a good bet to be her eventual replacement but there's no way to be sure. I don't blame her for getting paid while she can.; 4:19 PM
