I wonder if Sarah H. has problems getting designers to dress her. She looks great here, like someone else said, age-appropriate and fresh. I just wonder because she's in her early twenties and she's just so tiny and young-looking, I wonder if she has trouble with that... Maybe I just need more coffee and stop dribbling my random thoughts out here...

ReplyDeleteEeeep! I forgot about Taryn! The shape of the dress is good and her hair is lovely, but the gold makes her look slightly washed out...and the smoky eye...lay off the black with the gold, it's too heavy!! Still, nice to see her in something not-black and the boobies covered up...

Kevin Spacey looks uncomfortable with his "date". Are they friends? Ashley is out, so seems like a strange choice unless they are friends.

January: If you're going to wear Prabal Gurung, then you can't have prom hair. I'm not a fan of tomato red on the red carpet, it doesn't 'pop' on screen.

ReplyDeleteOk so everyone picture Octavia's dress on Lena Dunham. It's gorgeous and looks great on her body type. It's like they say in the real world, dress for the job you want not the one you have. You can't play a 25 yr old mentally unstable hipster forever.

ReplyDeleteOctavia's dress is perfect for a full-figured 44-year-old, but inappropriate for a 25-year-old. Lena wants to stand out by wearing edgy clothes and I like that about her, but the clothes never seem to be properly fitted.
Imagine Lena in a dress like January's. A defined waist would flatter her figure, a fitted bodice would prompt her to stand up straighter, and an interesting skirt shape would prevent it from looking old-fashioned.
Octavia, January & Vanessa Williams all look damn good!
