Just so sad these people with a gift can't keep it together. I always thought she was the sober one to Whitney. At least she's not that bad, but still. One reason she doesn't sound as good as she could. I didn't think that Xmas special was so bad for singing out in the freezing cold live. No one sings live anymore.

That probably irks me the most. When gifted people who don't even have try - their gift comes naturally - and they throw it all away.
To be fair, talent doesn't grant a person any immunity to addiction. Any of us would have just as hard a time getting clean and sober.
They're not throwing away their talent; they're hooked on a chemical. It doesn't matter if they're talented or not, they're fighting something that has the capacity to destroy anyone.
