What closeted almost A-list actor who appeared in two massive hit movies last year had his ex "girlfriend" reappear out of nowhere after his PR people started to get worried after he was spotted with a (non-famous) guy who is apparently his boyfriend. The "girlfriend" had to be pulled away from her new sugar daddy, that foreign born businessman recently linked to a supermodel.

It says almost A list, not A+, so I guess that means B++ in convoluted enty speak.
My statement still stands, Ansel is in two movies and is all of a sudden *almost* A. Oh wait, he was in that women and children movie. So 3 movies. Okay, makes total sense now. Definitely A list!
I see a lot of movies and I still have no idea who Ansel was. I had to Google, which sort of contrary to the definition of A list as being able to commercially "open" a movie.
Ohh girl Enty's list rating system is mysterious, but I've come to realize that the amount of press and publicity a celeb get counts for a lot with him even if the celeb hasn't done/isn't doing much.
Oh and I think since he's show business offspring, that counts in his favor in Enty's mind also. His parents are Arthur Elgort, a fashion photographer who has worked extensively for Vogue for over thirty years, and Grethe Barrett Holby, an opera director.
Why is it wrong to "out" someone but okay to talk about the personal lives of straight stars? Gays and straights should be treated the same
I'd probably say Ansel is solid B-list now, but I'm not going to quibble about a '+'. Divergent was a huge hit, although he wasn't a lead. And he's well known by teens after FAULT IN OUR STARS.
I was wondering if he was related to the great photographer.
um, because coming out / being outed is a WAY more personal and serious thing than having someone find out you hooked up with someone of the opposite sex. Unfortunately, gays and straights aren't treated the same. I hope i'm alive when they are, but for now I can't imagine being outed without my permission as opposed to people finding out i hooked up with someone of the opposite sex.
Two really big movies from the last year., plus a massive fan base. So yeah, definitely not the same as people who have been A list for several years, but still almost A.
