It was just all a little too over the top for this foreign born A list (at least on his part) celebrity couple. Trying to show they are a loving couple, the two were all over each other on the red carpet. It was a complete 180 degree change from how they had spent the time up to the red carpet. They spent time together checking in and that was it. She was at the pool and he was in the room. When she came up, he went out.

Cumberbatch, unless I missed something, didn't go near Cannes, and his wife is (cough cough) either about to give birth or gave birth weeks ago and the couple failed to announce it. Either way, if these two hit the red carpet, I sure missed it.
