This singer was bordering on A list at one point in her career. Then she started dating this at the time married A list mogul. Her career went nowhere and while he goes out almost every night, he makes her stay home because he is too insecure for her to go out without him. When they do go out together he ignores her but does not let her talk to anyone except pre-approved females.

Dave Grohl has been married since 2003 to a woman who, I believe, isn't involved in music at all. I think this blind implies that the mogul is not married anymore.
Sounds like Tommy Mottola and Thalia. She was/is hugely popular in the Latin pop market but everyone thought she was on track to be a big crossover artist in the US like Shakira. Then she married Tommy and all that evaporated. He's known to be intensely jealous. He pulled the same stuff with Mariah.
I should point out that she still does lots of stuff and puts out albums, but she doesn't have that world wide A list acclaim that people thought would happen.
+1 @nonsygirl--- I thought she was sooo pretty & was gonna be a smash & then Pffff----nowhere to be seen ever again after she got married like she was locked away in her castle. Very Strange!
Diddy. Was backstage at a concert on Governors Island a few years ago and they were there. He sat in the only chair in the area and she was squatting, yes, squatting down in front of him with her hand on his thigh the whole time they were in that area while he looked everywhere else. And it was outside and it was drizzling.
