One of the lead characters of this hit, long running ABC show is set to be killed off. Something has to be done to stop all the fighting and bickering on set between the two leads. One of them has to go. Which one will it be? Producers are hoping one of them will ask out of the show.

If I remember correctly, both Nathan and Stania signed huge contracts this summer to continue to play the characters for one more year. I believe this is the shows last year(?) -- if I remember correctly.
After the last few episodes of Castle, they ought to kill off both of them. Used to be a good show.

Scott Foley/Tony Goldwyn- scandal
Castle - Nathan Fillion/Stana Katic. Most likely they're hoping Katic leaves at the end of the year if the show is renewed. Things are reportedly so bad between the two, there's rumours their new contracts limit the number of scenes they do together, which would explain why the writers are stuck with a crappy story-line.
Hayden P and Connie Britton, who knows how long-running Enty means. 3 seasons could be long running if back in the day to him is last year.

I don't watch Castle but I caught about 10 minutes last night. Apparently, they are now married and she said that she needed a break from him to find herself and save their relationship.
I thought the most ridiculous part was in the first part, where the killer decided Castle really didn't know anything and was about the bump him off, and Castle kneed him in the crotch and took off. Please! If these guys are half the killers they're supposed to be they'd split him faster than Kaley Cuoco's marriage!
I loved Castle but when Nathan and Stania got together and the hideous ways they tried to keep it from everyone...I was done.

That show turned into a huge mess.
There's no way this is Castle if the producers "are hoping one of them will ask out of the show". Without Nathan, there is no Castle.
Castle was a great show for about 3 years(half it's run at this point). I don't think killing one off will help it.Maybe just pulling the plug on the show will though?
Nathan is fun to watch though- he'll be fine. I like his film work.
I have on good authority that Stana Katic is a sweetheart, ego must have gotten to him. The show is about Castle and Beckett. Better cancel the show.
Castle, but Stana has always been super polite with fatty fillion, she even tweets him happy birthday wishes and he doesn't answer.
It's been pretty well known for at least 3 years now that Stana and Nathan can't stand each other bts. Any smiles done in pictures with the two of them are fake and just trying to keep their shippers happy. This one was easy.
