One of the reasons divorce is in the very near future for this A+ list mostly movie actor is that the guy with all the friends does not ever see them anymore. His wife demands all of his time when they are together and will only go out with friends she brought to the marriage. Premieres and award shows are the only time he is allowed to interact with industry people.

I live in London, I know some ppl who know Amal and/or grew up knowing her family.
Here's the thing: not only is her uncle a famous arms dealer with serious terrorist ties (Hezbollah), but she is actually a nobody in the legal world: never won a case, never even co-won anything. On top of that, she's 40 years old, never married, and not many ppl have many nice things to say about her personality.

About Ms. Amal: I am honestly surprised at the amount of vitriol directed at her. I have no personal knowledge of her character, but I gotta say on paper she is outstanding. She clerked for a US Supreme Courth justice, for chrissakes, very few law students get the opportunity, especially foreign law students. She appears to be very well respected in her proffesion. And I would not expect her to win cases in court like on TV because she practices human rights law, not criminal law. Her type of work mostly involves months and years-long negotiation. I may be wrong, but it seems to me people are overreacting in their hatred of her. And I do not belive Georgie will ever divorce her, not gonna happen

What was she doing in the years between living and working in NY and working for her top law firm in Great Britain? She only worked at the UN for about 4 months.

People who think human rights lawyers 'win' cases don't understand how this sad old world works. Amal could be the Einstein of lawyers and never win a case in her line of work.
However, I know people who know her also and they say she was always very thirsty for fame. She isn't very popular with other human rights lawyers due to her attitude being a little egotistical.
