Blind Items Revealed #3

December 23, 2015

This aging, you probably forgot he is an Academy Award winner/nominee B- list mostly anything he can get actor with A list name recognition almost got arrested the other day. He refused to let someone drive away in their car because our actor insisted it belonged to him. The police came and got the actor to leave, but if he had not been who he is, he would have been arrested for the way he was arguing with police.

I feel badly for him in a way. the accident left him with many problems. But he's lucky he survived it.

Congrats Crash Diego!

He can be endearing with his craziness. And occasionally come out with some truth from behind the veil, like Charles Manson. As Busey gets older, it is diminishing, and more anger and stubbornness replaces it.

More than anger, I think it's frustration (which does cause anger and despair).

I don't know that many people who saw "The Buddy Holly Story" forget he's an Oscar nominee. That was one of the greatest performances of the 70s. And that year was stacked in the Best Actor category - DeNiro for Deer Hunter, Olivier for Boys From Brazil, Warren Beatty for Heaven Can Wait and Jon Voight (the winner) for Coming Home.

That's ok, Gary probably forgot that he was an Academy award winner/nominee too. He also forgot not to use his skull to break rocks with. He forgot not to use DMT for salad dressing. He forgot not to rent his head out as a speed bump. He forgot which hole in his face to put the cocaine in, so he just quit. He forgot that men aren't supposed to hit women...with their cars. In fact, he's forgotten more about what he's forgotten than we'll ever know.

It's pretty amazing to watch Gary not only in "Buddy Holly," but in all the pre-accident movies he made. He's sharp, he's on point, and he turned in some really dynamic performances. I think he still did some good work post-accident, but when you see his early work, you kind of wonder what might have been.
Although, he did have substance, alcohol and anger management issues before the crash, so maybe he would have burned out anyway.

Yep. Traumatic brain injuries suck. He's lucky he can even live independently & isn't in a nursing home.

He's one of a kind and not a dime a dozen like so many actors & actresses. Just for that I like him a lot.
