You can be box office poison and someone will give you a chance. This is true especially if you used to be an A+ list mostly movie actress. It all changes though if you get caught making some very derogatory remarks about people on the set and they are powerful enough to make sure you take a very very very long break from acting.

I thought of her she fits the bit about being B****y. Seems CMmy hasn't workd in a long time, but that's probably by choice(marriage etc).

I agree.....I would hate to think Lohan was ever A+and we know her last movies were fails. Thought the break was because she is a mess- but who knows?

I vote Diaz too. Now she is supposedly the face of aging gracefully. I wondered why the career shift. I thought it was her dopey movies with Ashton and Jason Segel. Oh, and Annie.
The type of comments that are likely to end careers are either racist, especially anti-black, or antisemitic. Historically the latter has been more significant simply because minorities had less influence in Hollywood.
C Diaz is on the down slope of her career due to age but her filming break coincides with her marriage. Depending upon which tabloid you prefer to read she is either trying to get pregnant or her husband convinced her she shouldn't waste her talents on rom-coms but should look for serious roles. Could be a very long search for the latter. However I'm unaware of any reported remarks by her that are derogatory.
Sharon Stone once said "Meryl Streep looked like an unmade bed" and of course, she looks like one too. B is crazy as hell and I could see her saying something really ignorant and it came to bite her in the butt.
Its a tough call between going to see a Kidman movie or buying a ticket to the wax museum.
I think not to work is by choice for CammyD, seems to be having a break since she married and haven't heard of any nasty remarks from her. So I guess Sharon Stone however I think if a company thought an actor was going to make money for them a few nasty words from someone wouldn't stop them from using him/her.
