This former A+ list mostly movie actress who has numerous celebrity offspring and has been married to multiple A listers is back on drugs again. The last time this happened she basically went into seclusion for well over a year.

I think she hasn't coped very well with the aging process. There is only so much cosmetic surgery can do, there comes a point it doesn't make you look younger anymore, but a freak. Being married to Asshat, who cheated on her a lot with younger actresses/models & then got married to one & had a couple babies soon, didn't help.
It's hard not to buy into youth=beauty and a challenge to find a man who doesn't either. Plus she is an actress and seemingly insecure based on the husbands she picked. You were expecting these two to be faithful and supportive?
Is that still a thing? The older brother of an ex-boyfriend fried his brain on those. He ended up dropping out of law school and becoming a dog walker.
well youth/beauty correlation is usually a fertility thing. thats why men often leave women for younger women. their bodies are more into it. the older, the more likely their biology says "pass"
i think she's a mess to begin with, but when you're that beautiful, it really must hurt a lot to watch it all go away. if it matters to much to you---like it does to her.
Pffft. She and Ashton ALWAYS had an open relationship...cuz, she's so cool like that. She only got bent out of shape that everybody else found out about it.
Well Demi's body does not seem to say pass if u ask me!! And if 60 yr old women are giving birth then sure Demi could have managed something along that line. I think young and for is sexy to old coots for far less noble reasons than fertility as many of them don't care to have more kids but fell young themselves to get a younger woman. Perhaps you can ask Hugh Hefner or Roger Ailes or Jerry Halls husband
I think Demi is one of the most beautful women in the world ( and I'm straight female) her voice also made her more attractive. She has aged beautifully.
I think she was in love with Bruce and moved to Idaho with him and didn't think he would cheat as much and as flagrantly as he did.
This by far the more destructive of relationships.
Ashton was the rejected rebound. Unfortunately Ashton was bigger ahole than Bruce. She had a lousy childhood and I think she is far more stable than most. She is nicer for sure. Drugs are disgusting and have ruined so many lives. I wish her the best.
I agree. Despite not being the greatest actress, she is was very striking in her day (in an unconventional way). Unlike Julia Roberts, I'm not sure Demi Moore ever felt like she deserved her success. Also...anyone who thinks that $$$ fixes absolutely everything is obviously not paying attention!

Agree. Hope she gets clean, & learns to age gracefully. IMO, she'll both feel *and* look better that way. Take Meg Ryan as a cautionary tale.

Julia was smart to marry a camera guy
Seems like the only successful ( not tabloid successful) are when stars marry behind scenes guys or nonhollywood
A banker or lawyer or camera guy would have worshipped her
