One actress who was playing the daughter of this former A+ list mostly movie actor part-time director who is an Academy Award winner/nominee quit the movie when the director kept hitting on her. Now, her replacement is also threatening to quit because of the actor.

It doesn't seem like this can be Mel. Blood Father is being released in 2 days so it is kinda hard to quite now. The Professor and the Madman doesn't see to have anybody attached to it yet except Mel, Sean Penn and Farhad Safinia (director) according to IMDB and A Variety article from Aug 2nd.
Too lazy to check - does Costner have anything in production?
I checked Costner, Duvall, Penn, Tim Robbins, Stiller, Ed Harris, Hopper but either they didn't have a movie filming or it would take too much research into characters to determine if they had a daughter character in the movie
