Hollywood remains deeply homophobic and just having a child no longer works as a cover story, think Renner. But a child plus two destroyed relationships? Escandalo enough to stop tounges wagging.
There was an article at DM saying that Melissa George showed up at a hospital in Paris at 3AM with bruises and feeling faint after an altercation with her partner. She isn't married to him but they have 2 kids.
As an aside, this is what DV victims do if they have means to escape the abuser, not go partying with friends.
