This foreign born A list singer who probably isn’t A+ list any longer had a group of male and female models she partied with for 36 hours straight while out of the country. Apparently there were no clothes allowed in the party.

Three current hits. Innovative and gripping pop music. Meanwhile lemonade only gets played b/c people feel sorry for Beyonce no longer being a hitmaker. But I guess her putting a purse in front of her abdomen every once in a while gets her that '+'.
Lemonade's sold (much) more, Beyonce's tour did (much) better, Beyonce gets (many) more headlines.
The Hot 100 is not the end all, be all of musical success, especially when Beyonce isn't playing that game anymore (e.g. not putting her album up on Spotify, releasing her videos all at once, not creating music that pop radio would play, not giving singles proper treatments) and a majority of Rihanna's recent single success is on the backs of other people (e.g. Calvin Harris, Drake, Eminem, Kanye).
All we need is RhiRhi and Bey defenders arguing here. :facepalm:

It's an emperor's clothes album, just terrible, sounds like something a hipster snowflake with no musical experience would make. "On the backs of other people" lol, Rihanna works with other artists collaboratively as the majority of R&B artists do which is how the genre is so dynamic and vital, whereas Beyonce just steals and tries to pass off others work as her own either with compensation (songwriters) or without (filmmakers, choreographers).

Maybe Enty's ranking is fair given it's based on self-created celebrity drama, but Rihanna is still a better artist. Also Mimi is an amazing songwriter and lyricist which she never gets credit for - just want to throw that one in for fun/incendiary value.
Have never heard of any of the above songs except for Lemonade, since I quit listenong to current radio years ago.

Lol, I was being harsh on Bey this morning, she's very talented too, I just like Rihanna as an artist more. Bey deserves better than Lemonade which as an individual album is terrible.

@AC and ... - except neither Rihanna nor Calvin Harris wrote "This is what you came for" - Taylor Swift did. So every time it's played on the radio, it's money in Taylor's pocket, not Rihanna or DJ multiple names Harris.
Not bashing Rihanna - she has some fantastic music ("Disturbia" and "Where have you been" are some of my faves. The DJ is just a try-hard wannabe, IMO). Just giving credit where it's deserved.

Taylor co-wrote the song with Calvin. Calvin has sole or co-writing credit on pretty much everything he's released. He is the sole writer on "We Found Love" and, yep, a co-writer on "Where Have You Been".
