When this famous actress known for starring in a show about a Midwest municipal department was still pregnant with her child, her also-famous Halloween-obsessed actor friend who shared the same university decided to try getting her baby to also become a Halloween enthusiast. But his plans ended up backfiring.

Whenever the actress's friend mentioned anything Halloween-related around her while she was still pregnant, her baby started kicking until he'd change the subject. He thought this was a sign that his plan was working; the actress knew it was the opposite. 

Shortly after the actress gave birth, her actor friend showed up to her condo dressed in a giant costume of his children's book character with a wagon full of Halloween-themed children's books and toys in tow. As soon as he walked in, the baby avoided looking at him.

He tried handing the baby a pumpkin stuffed animal, which the baby promptly spit up on. He tried reading the baby a children's Halloween story, and the baby started crying. On top of this, the actress's dog decided that it was the perfect time to start using one of the other books as a chew toy. At this point, the actress told the actor that he needs to leave and take the Halloween merch with him.

The actor was able to negotiate with the actress to allow him to bring her baby Arbor Day-themed toys and books. However, despite this deal, the actor and the baby still harbor ill-feelings towards each other.
