Today's Blind Items - Jealousy

 Back in the day there came a point in time where this long running syndicated teen show would get a nice fat years long extension or be thrown into the dustheap of history. It was thrown into the dustheap, but the reasons are crazy. The head of the network was in love with a show. Actually, he was in love with one of the female stars and desperately wanted to sleep with her. The actress, whom all of you know, knew this and used it to her advantage. She never actually slept with the head of the network, but gave every indication she wanted to.

Now, the syndicated show was a walking cesspool of people sleeping with each other and also the showrunner of the show. You had to sleep with the showrunner if you wanted to get lots of screentime. So, the actress on the show spent a lot of time in his office doing everything he wanted. The showrunner knew the show was on the line and offered up all his actresses to the head of the network. The head declined though because he was so enamored with the primetime actress.

Well, it turns out that the boyfriend of our prime time actress had met an actress on the syndicated show and started hooking up with her almost daily while his actress girlfriend was at work. Our actress was pissed when she found out and went to the network head and promised him the weekend of his life if he canceled the syndicated show. He canceled it five minutes later, but never did get that weekend.
