Hunger Games Honest Movie Trailer

If you have never spent an hour watching all of the honest movie trailers, The Hunger Games one they produced is a great way to start. You will then find yourself clicking on every other one as you gleefully spend your day at work doing absolutely nothing but laughing until your co-workers come over and you tell them and then the whole office is laughing and the boss thinks they have created the happiest workplace on earth.

District 12 Is For Sale

Are you a huge Hunger Games fan? Do you have an extra $1.4M sitting around with nothing to do? Well, you can buy District 12. The town in North Carolina known as Henry River Mill Village is 72 acres and was where the District 12 scenes were filmed. It is also for sale. There have been no residents in the town since 1987 and the current owner knows that now is the best time to sell. I also think he is asking way too low of a price. There are going to be at least two more movies in this series and if they break up the last book into two movies, then you can see there are going to be visitors to this town for awhile. It can generate way more than $1.4M worth of sales over that time period. I'm actually surprised it has been on the market for longer than a day or two at that price. Almost a quarter if book two takes place in District 12, so just the fee charged to producers should get you a lot of your investment back.

Jennifer Lawrence Is The Right Size For Katniss

Apparently there are people with way too much time on their hands and are dissecting The Hunger Games and specifically the weight of Jennifer Lawrence and how she is too heavy to play Katniss. I have read the books several times and I don't recall Katniss ever going to bed hungry after she started hunting. If you have enough food to sell and to give away and have a goat for your own milk and cheese I think you are probably going to be fairly well nourished. Plus, they also fattened the players up after the reaping so when I read reviews that say Jennifer has too much baby fat to play Katniss or even worse that Jennifer is too big boned to even play a leading actress (Hollywood Elsewhere) that really ticks me off. Look, I will go to my grave hating the fact that Tom Cruise and his 5'4" inch height is going to play the 6'5" Jack Reacher, but I'm not sure what people wanted. Did they want Jennifer to lose 20 pounds or something? I think she is the perfect size and I think anything should be done which allows an actress to not always have to be a size zero. In full disclosure, I have to admit that although I am hesitant to ever say anything bad about Jennifer because she has always been good to me and to the site it does not change the point I am trying to make about what I consider to be some really bad arguments reviewers are making.

Cato Breaks Up Glimmer's Engagement

For those of you not familiar with Alexander Ludwig or Leven Rambin, I thought I would go ahead and use their Hunger Games names in the headline. As news slowly begins to trickle out about exactly what went on during the filming in North Carolina, one thing that happened is that Leven Rambin's engagement to Geoff Clark ended because of her relationship with Alexander Ludwig which began on the set and continued through filming and even as recently as last month. With all the attention that the actors are getting now though, Alexander is enjoying dating and is not really interested in just one person so, basically just an on set fling. The thing is maybe it is good to find these things out before getting married. An engagement is just an engagement after all. Just a question really rather than a vow.

Hunger Games Is 3rd Best Opening Weekend Of All Time

Hunger Games was supposed to open really big this weekend, but no one expected it to open like it did. The movie is now the all time record holder for biggest opening weekend of a non-sequel and the third best opening of all time. Apparently Hunger Games fans outnumber Twilight fans by a lot. Did anyone see the movie who did not read the books? From someone who read all the books, I wonder if you found it as interesting or were disappointed with the ending? I feel like the ending could have been better, but obviously I know there are going to be two sequels, but if you had not read the books, and did not know that, would you feel the same way. The movie was over 2 hours long but I felt like it could have been longer because it seemed they still cut so much from the book, but then I realized it was mostly details they cut and no huge main plot lines. I'm just surprised that with the sucking up of box office cash, that any other movies managed to have anyone attend them at all. It was also nice to see what happens when you take a series of books and actually cast people in them who know how to act. You get good movies.

Hunger Games Shuns Twilight Actors - Get People Who Can Act

US Weekly has a quick article that says that producers of The Hunger Games wanted no actors or actresses who were in Twilight to appear in any one of the four Hunger Games movies. Apparently Kellan Lutz was desperate to play Gale. The thing is Kellan can't act. Really, with the exception of a couple of Twilight people, none of them can act. Did you see the cast of The Hunger Games? Umm, they have Academy Award nominees in their movie. They have people who actually can act and the movies will be so much better than Twlight. Another thing they have going for them is that The Hunger Games books are actually excellent and move forward and don't just go from side to side like someone twirling their hair for two hundred pages before they make a decision that they will get out of bed. Have you noticed The Hunger Games books are about half as long as a Twilight book but have about ten times the action and drama. If you have not read the books, you really need to. The first movie comes out next month and I promise you when you read the first you will rush to your iPad or Kindle or whatever and download the other two and stay up for 96 hours straight reading them all.
