Ethan Zohn's Cancer Returns

Ethan Zohn has given an interview to People and he told them his cancer has returned. Doctors apparently discovered it back in September. Ethan has such a positive attitude about his life and his battle with cancer and I think it is amazing that he does not ever seem to give up. Granted it is easier to not give up when you are making a million bucks a year and do not have to work a real job, but I don't think there is anyone who begrudges him for anything he gets or earns because of the way he handles himself. It seems like he devotes himself to causes and charities almost constantly and if there was ever a better person for Kneepads to be Kneepads with, this is the guy. He is planning on running the NYC Marathon and then having a chemo treatment two days later.

Lots Of Health News

Sometimes there are so many babies or weddings or engagements at once they get their own post. This is the first time though there have been enough health reports to do such a thing.
Maura Tierney - At a panel for the show Parenthood, a producer for the show said that Maura " is doing well… She's doing really good. She's in treatment and I spoke to her a few weeks ago and she's doing good." Maura is in treatment after discovering a tumor in her breast. One of my all-time favorite kindness items involved Maura and since I watched it happen, it made it even more special. Love her.
Dean McDermott - If you will recall, Tori let Dean have his motorcycle back after fearing it was too dangerous. This weekend he got into an accident and bruised his scapula and another bone but kept riding anyway. Later in the weekend he was spotted wearing a sling. Of course it was all captured on tape for their show so I'm sure it will be overly dramatic and Tori will cry and he will call her mama and then ask her where her checkbook is.
Ethan Zohn - Ethan is cancer free again. He hopes to go home from the hospital this week. Even when he goes home, his girlfriend Jenna Morasca said that he will have to be in isolation for the next three months. Hey, they can watch Survivor. I'm really glad Ethan is doing well.
Dennis Hopper - News Of The World says Dennis Hopper is close to death. They say his prostate cancer has spread to his bones and he only has a few days to live. I hate death watch kind of stories so this will be the last one of these. If it is true, let the man be in peace.

Ethan Zohn's Cancer Is Back

Leave it to Kneepads to try and get a tear out of you the first thing Monday morning. In one of the more heartbreaking stories they have had in awhile they document the story of former Survivor winner Ethan Zohn's discovery that the cancer he thought had been removed from his body is back, and is in different places than his original tumor.
A few weeks ago, when Ethan thought he was cancer free, his doctor called him with the post chemo results. "My cancer is back. I have never been so scared in my life, for my life."
Obviously everyone in his family and his girlfriend Jenna Morasca, also a Survivor winner are upset. "You have to think positive. And you have to find the strength, which I will. And you have to rely on other people, which I will." Ethan says the mango sized tumor he had in his chest is almost gone, but "there was re-growth. Two little nodules in a different location … It's quite rare that not only is there re-growth, but that there's re-growth so quickly. I was obviously resistant to the first form of chemotherapy."
Ethan is having some aggressive therapies over the coming months to deal with this latest setback. He and Jenna were two of my favorite Survivor contestants ever and Ethan has done so much with his 15 minutes to help others and hasn't really worried about helping himself. Hopefully everything works out ok.

So That's What Happened To Jenna Morasca

Does anyone remember the name Jenna Morasca? Yeah, me either and I actually watched the entire season of Survivor Amazon where she won. Well instead of fading into obscurity and enjoying her $1M for winning the show. Well $600K after taxes, she decided that she wanted to be in the public eye again. Apparently being at the grand openings of Sav-Mart doesn't pay what it used to. Is there even a store called that? Probably. Anyway, Jenna has decided to enter the world of professional wrestling. Not that she will actually do any wrestling at first. Instead she will just be there to look pretty and make a name for herself. Then, when she learns how to wrestle the plan is for her to start competing in TNA Wrestling. I don't watch wrestling. I know, I know. I seem like the kind of guy who would sit at home and watch nothing but Pay-Per-View wrestling, but I'm not.
I'm guessing that TNA has some kind of fancy name that I'm too lazy to look up, but my first reaction upon seeing the name and seeing the promo photo of Jenna they released was that TNA probably stood for the chest and rear portions of a female anatomy. Am I wrong? Wasn't Jenna dating Ethan or something? Are they still together? Obviously my Survivor trivia knowledge is lacking. Either that or it is just so down on the priority list behind who is sleeping with whom on The Hills that my brain just can't take anymore.
What I think they should do is get the other Jenna to come back also. You know? The one with the kids who made the porno in Vegas on her honeymoon and then got divorced like a week later. Oh, or they could get Elisabeth Hasselback to sign up and then she and Rosie O'Donnell could have a cage match. Do they still have those? Who else? Oh, Jerri Manthey would be perfect. She actually seems like this would be something she could do since that whole acting thing hasn't really taken off like she thought it would.
