Kirstie Alley Can't Talk To Maksim Because He Is Friends With Leah Remini

If you don't think Scientology is the most stupid religion to have ever been invented, then let me give you another nugget which hopefully will push the scale down for you so you can see it for what it really is. Kirstie Alley and Leah Remini used to be friends. When Leah left Scientology Kirstie could no longer speak to her and Kirstie has gone out of her way to trash Leah every chance she gets. Is Leah one of my favorite people? No, but I love that she stood up for what she thought was right and left Scientology. I don't think she has done enough to really expose it or what it has done or what it does to people and families. I think she has said as little as possible about it. She could expose some really important things but has chosen to remain quiet. It is her business whether she chooses to discuss it, but it almost feels like she is cashing in on leaving without actually giving more than a superficial reason or two why she left.

Anyway, Maksim and Kirstie used to be buddies after dancing together on the show in 2011. Maksim says that he recently got a note from Kirstie that says because of friends he now has that Kirstie is not allowed to talk to him any longer. What kind of religion decides who you can and can't speak to? You know why they do that? They don't want the person who has broken free to be able to get their mind clear and then try and talk you out of leaving. Do you know any other religion that bars you from speaking to those who have left?

Maksim Quits Dancing With The Stars

It seems that Maksim has been dancing on Dancing With The Stars since it premiered, but he actually joined the show beginning with its second season. He missed one other season because he was The Bachelor in Ukraine and you know, that took some time to give each woman a night in a fantasy suite. I'm not sure what Maksim plans on doing. Hopefully he saved some money. If he says he is going to open a dance studio, then he better be joining forces with Lea Michele's boyfriend and charge by the hour because I don't think a dance studio is going to make him quite the same amount of bank that DWTS does. Seriously, what do you think he is going to do? Go be a dancer for Jennifer Lopez and carry her purse for her? The Bachelor here in the US? To me that seems likely at some point. Disney/ABC loves to mix the two and probably don't want Maksim to go so you let him be The Bachelor for a bit and keep him around the network and maybe he comes back.

Jennifer Lopez's PR Team Is Spinning Away

The tabloids from last week have barely started hitting the trash cans and Jennifer Lopez's PR team is hard at work. They should be focusing on the wishy washy World Cup thing because that lawsuit she was facing from organizers if she ditched them was going to be interesting. Instead though, they are focused on making sure the world thinks that Casper and Jennifer really did split months ago. Right now they are telling the world that Jennifer is dating Maksim. You know, the guy who is incredibly in love with his DWTS partner Meryl Davis and has been seeing Kate Upton when she is not seeing Justin Verlander also has found time to start dating Jennifer. Uh huh. And what does Maksim have to say about this? Well conveniently, he is out of the country in India for the next two weeks so he is kind of hard to reach for a comment right now. So, they were dating, when? This started, when? Jennifer has been everywhere lately and most of the time it was with Casper or while she was filming Idol or "singing" somewhere. The last time I remember even seeing Jennifer and Maks anywhere near each other was several months ago when they were rehearsing for the American Music Awards. You know, when Jen was still dating Casper even according to the BS timeline fed by her PR people.

Maksim And Meryl Get A Perfect Score

After complaining last week that they got robbed of a perfect score, this week on Dancing With The Stars, Maksim and Meryl Davis got their perfect score while dancing to Feel So Close by Calvin Harris. After doing really well last week, Peta and James Maslow were a bit off but sometimes I just feel like the judges like to rotate the perfect scores and never let any couple really feel comfortable. That extends to throwing them into the bottom three too which is where Danica McKellar found herself. I think they just do that so the people watching don't get bored and to make the contestants keep showing up to practice and trying harder. In the end, it was Drew Carey who was sent home. The guy is a big fan of the show, and everyone loves him, but he always seemed out of his league when it came to the dancing thing.
