Mark Speight Is Dead

After six days missing, someone found Mark Speight on Sunday morning. Unfortunately they did not find him alive.

Mark Speight was found hanging in the joists in Paddington Station, but out of sight of the traveling public. Apparently he had hung himself almost immediately after the last CCTV photos of him were taken.

Look. Although Mark is the one who supplied the coke to his girlfriend which ultimately led to her death, no one forced her to take it. In one of the articles I read it questioned why the police who cornered him right before he killed himself did not do more for him considering how bad he looked. They did recognize him and did know what he was going through, yet did nothing. I don't know if they could have actually done something even if they had tried. I can't honestly get a handle on whether he should be blamed for Natasha Collins' death or not. Her mom seemed to not blame him. The problem he is he blamed himself and could no longer live with that guilt.

I don't want to go off on a side note here, but I just have to wonder how a guy in a daze about to kill himself can get in a secure area of the station. What if he were a terrorist planting a bomb? The guy hung up in the rafters for six days.

Mark Speight Is Missing

The photo above is the last known photo of Mark Speight. Mark Speight is the television host who did nothing while his girlfriend Natasha Collins overdosed on coke. Of course the reason he did nothing was that he was passed out cold from his own coke and tranquilizer binge. This photo was taken at about 226pm. It was taken about an hour after police officers had approached him in the street because he was behaving oddly. They offered to call him an ambulance or a doctor but he just rushed off. Ten minutes before the photo was taken, Mark Speight called Natasha's mother and told him to meet her so they could look at some of Natasha's favorite places. They arranged a place to meet and the train Mark is getting on would have been the correct one to meet her.

He never showed up and nothing has been heard from him since. He did take out a large sum of money from an ATM earlier in the day. My guess is maybe he had a little drug party of his own and either overdosed or is on a huge bender. Presumably something could have happened to him if he flashed a big wad of cash when he was trying to buy drugs, but really it is all speculation. Another Guy Who Didn't Notice Anything

The inquest for Natasha Collins was released today in the UK, and to the surprise of no one, she died of an overdose of coke and sleeping pills. Natasha Collins was a former tv host in the UK who lived with her boyfriend who is also a television host in the UK. Her boyfriend was Mark Speight and he most recently hosted the show SMart which was for children so of course he is a real role model for the kids.

Mark was originally arrested and questioned for suspicion of murder and supplying the coke to Natasha, but all charges were later dropped. I don't know if they have wrongful death suits in the UK, but if I am her parents I want to know how Mark could be at home with her and not know what was going on. Are people that into their own lives that like with Howard K, that we don't notice a damn thing unless it directly involves us. Do we only notice others when they walk in front of our television or speak too loudly when we are on the phone?

Natasha had 3.42 milligrams of coke in her blood when she died. Wonder how much it takes to cause death? .70 milligrams. So, Natasha had enough coke in her blood to kill her five times, and sleeping pills, but Mark never noticed anything huh? He just said sure honey, go take a bath while you are jacked to the gills on drugs. Maybe later we can go out for some food and get you some more coke.

If I were her parents I would want to know everything and Mark would probably not be my best friend. He must have done something to make them happy though because they jointly released a statement today which said, "Natasha was a loving daughter, fiancée, sister and friend, with a very positive attitude towards life. She was always thinking of others. We are devastated that her life was cut short and we miss her deeply. She will always remain in our hearts."

I just want to know what happened and what Mark knew.

Children's Program Host Arrested For Suspicion Of Murder

Mark Speight is the host of a very popular children's program in the UK called SMart which introduces children to art. His fiancee Natasha Collins who was 32, was found dead in her bathtub at about 1pm yesterday. Because Speight was the only other person present at the apartment he was obviously a suspect and was arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying a Class A drug but was released later on bail.

It is suspected that Collins died of either a cocaine overdose or a heart attack related to the use of the drug. When police were called to the scene no drugs or drug or drug-taking paraphernalia were found at the scene, but I would highly doubt that Speight would leave them laying around to be found whether or not he had anything to do with her death.

It is also hard to imagine someone doing lines of coke on the sides of a bathtub at 130pm, but you just never know. I have definitely seen some crazier things.

The BBC has canceled tomorrow's scheduled 10am showing of SMart, which was a repeat. A decision has yet to be made on whether next week's episodes will be screened, a BBC spokeswoman said.
