Former Miss Kentucky USA Arrested For Smuggling Drugs Into Prison

A former Miss USA contestant from Kentucky is facing arraignment next week after being accused of sneaking drugs to an inmate inside an Ohio prison.

Kia Hampton, 28, of Louisville, Kentucky, was arrested May 26 in Allen County, Ohio, after she was caught smuggling marijuana into the Allen Correctional Institution for inmate Jeremy Kelly, according to an affidavit detailing the arrest, the Courier-Journal reported.

A grand jury indicted Hampton earlier this month on a third-degree felony charge of bringing drugs onto government facility grounds, which carries a maximum three-year prison sentence upon conviction.

Hampton was served a search warrant upon arriving at the prison May 26 for an inmate visit.

While listening to previously recorded phone calls, officers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said they obtained enough evidence to obtain a warrant for a cavity search.

As she was questioned by officers, Hampton reached into a pant leg and pushed a white balloon onto the floor, according to the affidavit.

It was later determined that she was carrying nearly 3 grams of marijuana, Assistant Allen County Prosecutor Kenneth Sturgill told the Courier-Journal.

Hampton was indicted July 13 by an Allen County grand jury and faces one count of "illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility" and is scheduled to be arraigned July 26.

Hampton was crowned Miss Kentucky USA in November 2010 when she was just 21.

Former Miss USA Contestant Charged With Assaulting A Boyfriend Again

For the third time in the past few years, current nuclear engineer and former Miss USA contestant Brittany Poteet has been charged with domestic violence. The good news for her is that this is the first time she has been charged in a foreign country. Poteet moved to Australia after wanting a fresh start away from the US. Last month she beat her boyfriend causing bodily harm. Previously, back in the States, Poteet has been charged with beatting up another boyfriend who told a judge he couldn't remember what happened and she also was accused of beatting up a gay roommate and calling him a gay slur. Those charges were dropped. Poteet had to give up her title when she got drunk one night and posed a video of herself in her sash calling herself Miss Alcoholic USA.

Poteet has a double degree in biomedical and nuclear science.

Former Miss Pennsylvania Ordered To Pay $5M To Miss Universe Organization aka Donald Trump

Back in June, the former Miss Pennsylvania USA, Sheena Monnin said that the Miss USA contest is rigged and that she had seen a list of the top five finalists before they were officially announced. The fact that she said this on national television and continued to say it made Donald very angry. And you know when Donald gets angry he starts sending out his lawyers and the next thing you know, the NY Post is reporting that Sheena lost her case in arbitration and that she defamed the organization and she owes $5M in damages. I'm not sure how anyone came to that amount, but she will never end up paying anything close to it. In a statement, Donald said that he hated to do it but that she has learned a very expensive lesson. I think he should let her off the hook. It is the holidays. Maybe she will fix his hair for free for life or something.

Miss Pennsylvania USA Says Miss USA Is Rigged

Miss Pennsylvania USA has resigned from her position and says Miss USA is rigged. She posted to her Facebook account that prior to the night's activities, another contestant had seen the list of the top 5. Then, when the field was whittled down to 16, she named the top 5 in order to some of the other contestants before it happened. I don't doubt it her. I don't doubt that the organizers know exactly who the top 5 are going to be before the show. I do think though that who comes from the top 5 and in what order is probably left to the celebrity judges. They ask their questions and make their judgment from those 5 though so they don't screw it up too bad. As to how you get to be in that top 5? The same way you get to be in the top 5 every week in Toddlers & Tiaras. It is who you know and making sure the real judges can check off their little boxes.

The Miss USA pageant says Miss Pennsylvania resigned because she did not agree with allowing of transgendered contestants be in the contest and say they have the e-mail although they have not released it. They have released what they say are the contents and in it Miss Pennsylvania says she does not agree with the decision to include transgender contestants.

I Don't Want Her To Be A Judge

Are the folks over at Miss USA that desperate? Extra reported yesterday that Heather Mills is going to be one of the judges for the Miss USA pageant. Now, I'm sure the owner of Miss USA, Donald Trump thinks that by having Heather be a judge that the ratings will increase. I don't think so. If he wants ratings to increase he needs to send that 17 year old who was shilling his vodka while naked over SuperBowl weekend. That would increase ratings.

If you want to have a former hooker and porn star be a judge, get the hooker everyone in America knows. Ashley Dupre. Why do we need to import hookers to judge a beauty contest? America is not the best at everything, but I will put our porn stars and hookers up against anyone in the world.

This is the Miss USA pageant. I want homegrown hookers and porn stars judging who is going to get the chance to be the next Miss USA. Could Trump not find anyone other than one of the most despised women in the world to come judge? Did everyone else say no?

Come on Donald. You must know some hookers and porn stars from right here in the USA. Don't outsource one of our best industries.
