Today's Blind Items--Easy, Easy
#1 So about two weeks ago there is a Vivid party (adult film company) and this music producer who reminds me a great deal of Larry Hagman drives his car right up to the front entrance of the club, slams his brakes so the tries squeal and to make sure he has everyone's attention. In front of the club is a long line of people waiting to get in. Our producer walks up to the door and says, "I'm here for the party." The bouncer sees his name on the list, but says the party hasn't started yet and won't for another 20 minutes or so. Our producer begs to get in early, but is denied. He goes back to his car and lays rubber as he pulls away from the club. 30 minutes later he pulls back in front of the club just as noisily, and as he struts up to the front entrance says, "Lets start this party. Where are the bitches? Bring on the bitches." I would like to say that he then tripped and fell and everyone laughed at him, but everyone was already laughing at him. He went home empty that night.
#2 Oh Canada. Not really about Canada per se, but it does take place in Canada. Seems that a show that is filming there which was supposed to be a big hit is actually a bomb and the cast knows it. Since they figure they will be cancelled before the end of the year they are doing as much as they can to have fun, including all kinds of gestures and signals to their friends while filming, stealing everything they can from the various sets, and basically just having the time of their lives all over Vancouver knowing it will be over soon. Everyone is joining in except for the female lead who still thinks the show will make it and thinks everyone is acting childish and refuses to take part in anything that can be considered fun. The rest of the cast and crew have taken to calling her diamond which she takes as a compliment. Unfortunately it is referring to what a tight ass she is and how if she put a lump of coal in her ass it would turn to a diamond.

Bionic Woman for #2 - filming in Vancouver and it's just a terrible show.

Bionic Woman's doing decent in the ratings....it's probably Men in Trees because Heche sounds like a tightass and the show's on Fridays and it hasn't even premiered yet.
Is Private Practice filmed in Canada? (please, oh please?)
Unless I'm missing something, #2 is about a show that is new this year. That excludes Men in Trees. So I agree that it's Bionic Woman. (I saw the pilot and HATED it.)

If it were an older show, it would already have found its place in the ratings, as "Men in Trees" has. Neither a big hit nor a bomb.
Damnit I like Bionic Woman! Normally I'm all over the shitty ones and ready for them to go, but I actually like it :(
What about Samantha Who? That show hasn't premiered yet and I haven't heard good things about it.
Bionic Woman has had solid if not spectacular ratings. It is NBC's second highest rated show behind Heroes (not counting Sunday Night Football).

While Bionic Woman has solid ratings, almost every critic is predicting that its not gonna make it much longer.I agree with them. I WANTED to like Michelle Ryan but she falls totally flat on-screen.
Samantha Who has had really negative buzz,but it films in LA, so does Dirt

Every critic hated King of Queens and loved Freaks and Geeks. As long as NBC doesn't have anything besides Heroes above it, I doubt that the crew would be stealing shit left and right. I could be wrong but it just seems like wishful thinking for some people rather than based on facts.
I still think #2 is Courtney Cox based on Random Photo comment calling her a tight ass.

Kelly-I think Dirt is filmed in Hollywood, since that's where it takes place and all the studios are and CCA lives there. I think it may just be a coincidence.
If Bionic Woman is filmed in Vancouver you have your answer, I think.

I'll see what I can find out for you guys about #2. You don't burn your bridges in a small town like this without word getting around pretty fast. I'm feeling the Bionic Woman guess pretty hard though, even though I haven't seen the show.

small town???? hez are you on serious medication? Vancouver is anything but small...especially when you take into account that most of the filming isn't even done in Vancouver but the suburban cities.

yesss, Bionic Woman IS shot in Vancouver. my gut reaction was Private Practice - looks like I was wrong, and I couldn't be more relieved.
Pushing Daisies films at WB Studios in Burbank so that's not one.
